I’m slowly realizing people just say stuff in fan theories of stuff, like I saw a video on YouTube about SOMA theory in tadc, which is a fun idea, but kinda falls apart when looking at narrative themes and inspirations. I also think not enough people know about the fact that some of the inspiration for tadc comes from evangelion, which when tied together with I have no mouth, paints an incredibly clear picture of this being set in a post-apocalyptic environment, and in the end, the most easily hatable character in the media finally comes around in a too little too late manner as death befalls everyone else as they’re left there to finally experience it all alone with the perpetrator of such mass-scale destruction jax is gonna kill the rest of them somehow and be the final abstraction, no more circus people for all of eternity. And caine will become so hateful that he genuinely be on par with AM, but can’t do anything more for all of eternity. Eventually settling into an endless loop, or altering his own mind to the point of abstraction as well. The other characters might genuinely get deleted. But I did just realize, the characters have built up this idea of making the best of a bad situation, so the other possibility is jax deletes caine, at the cost of his own life and or sanity. And the rest of them will only have each other’s company for the rest of eternity. These are my two theories based off of themes and inspirations. But either way, someone’s getting deleted, caine’s gonna have an unfun time and jax is 100% sacrificing himself.
