I've seen a lot of asexual and aromantic Christians say they see aspects of themselves in Jesus. Do you think Jesus was asexual and/or aromantic?
the ancient world had a much, much different way of navigating sex, gender, and desire--one that resists any attempt to transpose modern terms on it. that being said, it is not eisegetical to see parts of yourself in jesus. that is the purpose of incarnation. if you figure your messiah as asexual and aromantic then of course, your messiah is asexual and aromantic
