first wobbuffet was a variant on the jakks pacific 2008 wobbuffet. the more common version of this wobb (which I now own) is made with a kind of thin, cheap-feeling felt? but this wobbuffet is much softer and the material is a lot more sturdy. i have no idea why two different versions of it exist, but i rarely see pictures of the specific one i have online.

i bitched about owning it for years but refused to get rid of it. eventually, my friends, eager to antagonize me, started buying me more wobbuffet.

eventually i accepted my fate

HI HELLO !! okay so this is probably gonna be a bit of a mess but ill do my best to retrace my steps

so there was years of not knowing anything about dViking's backstory. like he's always been one big question mark. we knew he found the Book, we knew his goal was to get his memories back, and that was about it. there was some super old hints of a potential series covering the Book's origins, specifically there being a Viking that knew the Book's author, but we kinda thought that was gonna be all we ever heard about it bc Dominion ended so suddenly

and then Yellow shows up in Skyblock Kingdoms! the hypothetical ending ccViking talked abt years ago got canonized! and he continues his character arc of "i need to find out who i am, i'm desperate, i don't care what risks i have to take i need to know". like he literally got killed by his other half over a ritual that didn't even work, and now he's alive again in someone else's body but the Book is here and he's got another chance that he's GOING to take.

and then he dies. Olm manipulated him, he gets crushed by falling blocks, and that's the end of dViking. no idea where Blue is (asides from speculation that she's Gilded Viking), no answers on who dViking was before he died, that era of lore is confirmed over.

apparently i was planning to edit this down into a clip but i never did? but there's a hardcore stream where ccViking talked about his plans for TSMP, which got sidelined in favor of SBK. and he just dropped reveal after reveal out of NOWHERE. a lot of my frustration about Yellow's death was that the whole "dViking trying to get his memories and identity back" plotline was forever unresolved after a series and a half's worth of build-up, and then suddenly we have (nearly) the whole story:

tViking, who i am already very normal about, fights his sister tRuby. he loses, they kill him, and we'll find everything else out when ccRuby finishes his TSMP finale video. the part that broke me was what was gonna come next, the bit about tViking waking up as a ghost with his injuries gone. because now, finally, WE KNOW WHO DOMINION VIKING IS. there's still a lot of gaps, but we know who he is!! he's tViking!! he's Ruby's brother, displaced through time and space, killed by xer hands with no memory that xe even exists. he's the silly beetroot guy turned wannabe dictator turned pawn in a battle between gods turned wandering ghost longing for companionship and answers to the mystery of who he is and why he's here. and at this point he's practically cursed to have everything fall apart right before he gets everything he's always wanted.

the answer to "who is dViking" has been right there from day 1 of TSMP, when chat drew comparisons and Ruby said something that set in motion basically everything:

the fact that hiro mizushima is tsukumo's long suffering assistant is even funnier
