i can see Komaeda calling anything he loses sleep over a "nightmare" because of his #moral nuance where bad things can be niceys and vice versa. and also because if he DID try to overtly flirt he'd be all "I had a nightmare about you last night, Hinata-kun. <3 It was very intense." and Hinata does a minigame to see Just How Much he's being mocked and goes "hmm. sorry...?"
