𝙳𝚊𝚛𝚔 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚔 𝚂𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝙾𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝙷𝚘𝚐𝚜𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎, 𝙷𝚘𝚐𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝚂𝚝𝚞𝚍𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝚃𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚍?

At a Halloween party hosted by several shops and eateries within Hogsmeade Village, chaos erupted the night of October 30th when the Dark Mark appeared in the night sky. There were reports of several students attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry falling ill to varying degrees, with the latest news from within Hogwarts walls claiming that they were poisoned. 

The Dark Mark is rumored to be the symbol of the followers of Lord Voldemort, the “Death Eaters,” though this is yet to be confirmed or denied by the Ministry’s Auror department. Although no deaths have been reported as of seven a.m on October 31st, which is typical of the Dark Mark’s appearance, it seems likely that this was, in fact, a Death Eater ordained attack. 

All businesses within Hogsmeade Village are to remained closed through Monday, November 1st, while investigations are underway.

Several homes of known Ministry-associated Muggleborns have been marked for future visitations. It is imperative that we keep these individuals under constant surveillance -- their involvement with the Ministry should be kept to an absolute minimum. There is no present need to remove them from office; a watchful eye is plenty.
