#ABQZF7 workshops! THIS SATURDAY at The The Harwood Art Center MAKING COMIX with Lawrence Lindell Studios 1:00pm - 2:15pm (Workshop) Ever had a great idea for a comic, but didn't know where to start? Ever thought, ”I wanna make a comic, but it seems too expensive?!” Need an excuse to just come hang out somewhere and draw? Then this workshop is for you! Using the most minimal tools available, ABQZF7 Guest Artist Lawrence Lindell (Oakland) creator of the wildly successful comic, “From Black Boy with Love,” will show you how accessible making comics really is. You’ll learn how to create a mini comic, the one-pager, the half fold and a bunch of among other accessible styles. All you need to bring is your imagination and good vibes. For Ages 10 and up! Space is limited! Arrive just before 1pm to claim your spot!
