Tell EE he is wrong about priest and God
I will, but to clarify, that conversation was with @afriendtokilltime not EE. But I’m sure he’s wrong about something to do with one of these topics...

Chocolate in the freezer is best, except for chocolate chip cookies in the freezer. (yay stress-relievers!)
Blasphemy!
All chocolate should be melted or just on the verge of melted, unless it is ice cream.Â
Tell EE he is wrong about Civil War memorials.
I’ll tell him, but I think you’re going to have an uphill battle convincing an HISTORIAN that we should destroy historical artifacts.Â
Believe it or not, there exists a middle ground between revering something and destroying it. Holocaust museums have kept far worse things. What’s important is to acknowledge these things for what they are. If we destroy these objects, do you really think that in, say, 50 years, alternate facts people won’t claim that they didn’t exist, that the South was never like that? We need to acknowledge and talk about the horrible things in our history, not try to blot them out. That’s learning from past mistakes 101.
Was there an EvilElitest1? Does he have a twin? Is his twin less wrong
Yes there was an EvilElitest mock one, as it were. Once upon a time, the one you call EvilElitest2 had a blog under the username “EvilElitest” with no modifiers or numbers of any kind. These were the golden times, the origins of the great empire that we only see ruins of today. But EE has a flaw, and that flaw is that he is fucking terrible at technology. So one day, EE decided he wished to make a new sub-tumblr. He attempted this, but in some way forever lost to history, instead managed to delete his entire tumblr. There was much wailing and sadness throughout the land, and when the dust cleared someone else had stolen the great title.
This was the greatest tragedy of our time.
But life moves on, and a new account was created, this time with the modifier “2″ to honor those lost in the great deleting.Â
The end.
Have you seen Innuendo's studios Adventure game design series? EE is wrong about it btw
I haven’t, no. I’ll check it out sometime probably.
BTW I told him he’s wrong about it and he’s super confused because it sounds like you’re recommending it (?) and he literally can’t remember saying anything bad about it…? Unless you hate it?

Why is EvilElitest2 such a snob?
I’m pretty sure it’s in the name. evilELITEST
(And yes everyone, he knows it’s spelled wrong, that’s the joke.)
Tell EvilElitest he is wrong about Dark Souls's pause Button
The no pause button thing with Dark Souls is a major reason why I have no intention of playing it any time soon. It demonstrates a lack of respect for the player and an unnecessary amount of fuck you. If I’m working on a difficult boss and my cat breaks a vase in the next room or my children need me for something, should the game punish me for that? What possible purpose could that serve (in single player, obviously it makes sense in mutiplayer) other than to make things more frustrating for the player? That doesn’t make the game more challenging, it makes the game more rude.Â
What, are we supposed to “get good” at not having a life?
And anything that purposefully alienates players just for the sake of alienating players is a pretty stupid choice. Do you just not want people to play your game? I would never do something like that as a writer, because I want people to read what I write.
It’s a shame too, because I understand from what EvilElitest tells me that it’s a really exploration-based game, and I love stuff like that. Maybe he’ll persuade me at some point, but I really don’t have patience for the “let’s beat up on players for no reason” thing. It’s like a lot of postmodern fiction. Ick.
Tell EvilElitest2 he is wrong about Sera from Dragon Age. Also Vivienne (But not as much)
I told him this. He said you are likely referring to his post explaining why both of those characters are fairly bad people (but well-written characters), which he is TOTALLY RIGHT ABOUT. Well, except that Vivienne isn’t particularly well-written in my opinion. But Sera is, Sera is really quite amazingly well-written. I didn’t read that post, but here’s my reasoning for why these two have some fairly large moral flaws:
Vivienne is buying into and endorsing a system that oppresses mages without ever having experienced the brunt of that oppression. She has way more freedom and privilege than most mages and doesn’t seem to acknowledge it or the fact that many mages are quite horribly abused in their circles (See Dragon Age II).Â
Sera constantly criticizes things for being “too elfy.” It’s the equivalent of a black person telling another black person not to be “so black.” It’s…not good. She is also found of belittling Dalish culture, and if you play a Dalish inquisitor she will rebuff any attempts to connect with her on the basis of shared discrimination. She’s also really anti-mage.
This does not make either of them morally bankrupt by any means, by neither is someone I would look to for moral guidance. To clarify, this actually makes both of them, and Sera in particular, more interesting and more complex as characters. It’s a good thing, not a bad thing.
Also, Sera presents herself as a fun-loving prankster but kind of becomes a stick in the mud when anyone else tries to initiate jokes or banter or try silly things:
Iron Bull: Sera, I had a thought. The next time we run into a line of enemies, I’ll pick you up and throw you.Sera: Get off.Iron Bull: No! This could work! I loft you over the front rank, and you land behind them to flank…mayhem ensues.Sera: I can’t fly, you daft tit!Iron Bull: Think of the mayhem, Sera. Mayhem.Sera: I’d get a wedge-up something fierce!Iron Bull: Look, you and Varric are the only ones small enough and he’s…pretty dense.Sera: Well, do some bloody presses!
THE IRON BULL WANTS TO PLAY WITH YOU WHY WON’T YOU PLAY WITH THE IRON BULL???
(That last bit wasn’t a moral problem so much as something I have feels about as a prankster ENTP and a generally silly person).
