Once again, this is your local lesbian psychologist and farmer here to remind you, if you are in the position to do so, to please consider donating blood.
Summer approaches and many donors (especially "veterans" of later age) won't be able to do it because of their pressure and the temperatures, and the blood banks will start to suffer to replenish their stocks.
On average, it takes five to ten minutes for a donation, it's a very quick and painless procedure but it might save a life. You will be going on with your random tuesday without even knowing it, but someone else out there who is going through the worst day of their life might make it our alive because you took that time out of your schedule even weeks before.
If you cannot for any reason donate, at least keep the option in mind and maybe propose it to others. All of us people who breath and to whom things might happen suddenly have an interest in ensuring that our doctors and nurses have a steady line of supplies for their jobs and one of those is spare blood.
This has been the first of your twice a year reminders! I will be bothering you again in October!
