borrow or buy? Buy! I’ll buy used copies, too, whatevz. Those are the only books in my library that have cracked spines or any type of lived in damage.
bookstore or online? i like looking through the shelves in bookstores to find new interesting stuff, but i usually write down the title, put it on my amazon wishlist and maybe buy it later some time.
fiction or non-fiction? fiction, though there’s been plenty of non-fiction reads I’ve enjoyed.
fantasy world or real life issues? no preference
kindle, ipad, or other? I own a Kindle Fire HD, Kindle 2 (with keyboard), an iPad 2, and an iPad air 2. Loved the shit out of my Kindle 2 (was my first ebook reader), because it has free 3G, but e-ink is annoying as hell, especially when you want a book that has colored pictures. Also un-usable in thunder storms and the like (which oddly is when I do most of my reading on ebooks - when the power goes out lmao). My Kindle Fire is okay. I read quite a few books on it, but I hate the app. The tablet itself is the perfect size for reading (the 7″ model), because I have tiny hands, but the software is garbage. Constantly forgets my place in books, and doesn’t give an accurate time for what you’ve read or how long you have left in a chapter/the whole book. You can’t use any 3rd party apps for software you might actually like - like Kobo, Nook, or iBooks. So, meh... The iPad 2 and the iPad Air 2 are both really good tablets, and served me well, but they’re gigantic and is uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. I love the Kobo app the most, and this is fine on iOS, but the device is much too large for my hands. I get tired. :/  I’m looking to invest in one of the slightly older Kobo color readers. Maybe the Arc HD 7″.Â
monster read or short and sweet? Monster read!Â
starry eyed romance or full of action? I like both. romances can be fun, though its hard to take seriously. action is fun, but the plot sometimes suffers.
read the review or decide for yourself? i always read for myself. i don’t care about other people’s opinions. unless it’s so horrible that I have to look up reviews on amazon or goodreads to see if anyone caught passages that I read that were unbelievable and to laugh with them.
