Golden Oak is one of the most respected breeding facilities and training centers for performance Quarter Horses the country. It rests on over three hundred acres of picturesque rolling terrain, perfectly situated on the rural outskirts of Fort Worth.

Golden Oak started out as a regular cattle ranch, the horses on site there mainly to do the ranch work. Their small breeding programme supplied local ranches in the area, but their horses gained a reputation as some of the best in Texas, and their reach grew, expanding to Western ranching shows and becoming more refined as the years went on. Now, the facility focuses primarily on their horse breeding and training programme, specializing in ranch horses, rope horses, cow horses and cutting horses. The cattle have been sold on, and instead they hire cattle for the purpose of training the horses.

This ranch features a main home, guest home, and staff housing. The horse facilities include 4 barns, each with several stalls. The two show barns total 21 stalls each, and have an office, lounge, wash racks, tack rooms, fly spray system, and automatic waterers. The Mare motel has 20 stalls, stocks, and a lab. Finally, there is a 6 stall quarantine barn. Many horses aren't stalled and are out on full-time turnout in the pastures. For training and riding there's an expansive 100' x 200' lighted indoor arena, round pen and outdoor ring with cattle chute. There are several paddocks so mares, stallions and geldings can be separated as needed, access to local trails and two private lakes for fishing.
