"Once We Get Up There" got some criticism in S2 because of Vox's ego - in the sense that even if he DID strike Heaven, how did he expect to actually ascend to Heaven to take over?
With Vox being a Lucifer archetype i like to actually think about how this would have potentially paralleled Book II of Paradise Lost, in which after rallying the rebel angels that fell with him (now the first demons of Hell) Lucifer made the "sacrifice" to be the first to venture out last the gates of Hell and into what was called Chaos - the expansive abyss between the gates of Hell and the realms beyond.
This is characterized as a "formless infinite" that Lucifer had to travel through. Being the space outside of creation and God's order, it was naturally discordant and confusing.
If Vox's plans hadn't fallen apart at the end of S2, he quite possibly would have taken the next step of Milton's Lucifer and experienced Chaos.

arms: Does your OC have any weapons? What weapons do they carry, and how do they wear them when they're not fighting?
This is so stupid, but her arms are her arms. They're her best and favorite way to fight, so she decided to get a Gorilla Arm installation in her non-dominant side (she enjoys the feeling of skin-on-bone too much to do both). Her only other weapon, which she carries more for sentimental reasons that anything else, is Crash. She only really has it on her because River gave it to her, seeing as she doesn't like using 1) revolvers and 2) power weapons, and of course, Crash is both.
Arms are always out and ready, but Crash is more than always holstered on her upper right thigh.

Vox. Never. Wears. A. Bra. Okay, that's out of the way.
Normal days are for denim, band tees, and ass-kickers. It's her default mainly for comfort reasons, though it's honestly what she has most of in her closet. Her day-to-day is a combination of these things, though she does like to sprinkle in low-cut tops and weird thrifted jackets. She really can't go a day without some sort of platform boot, since she so desperately hates being so short. Gotta get some sort of height advantage, y'know?

Vox is generally fairly reserved, though easily provoked. Always on the lookout for a fight, she's come to hone her violent tactics through her years scrapping on the streets of Heywood, where she became known for her short temper and willingness to throw hands for any reason, at any time.
Despite her tough exterior, Vox is a softie when it comes to the people she loves. She's fierce in her affections and loyal to a fault, even if she's not the best at forming relationships. Past experiences have made it difficult for her to feel comfortable getting close to others, so it's not easy to break past her shell, but she's a ride-or-die if you do.

Absolutely! There are a lot of things Vox regrets, particularly moving out East for a decade and, more than anything else, the Relic heist she participated in. Vox knew it was a mistake from the moment she heard about the job, but she truly hoped that it would be the end of their lives as mercenaries; especially for Jackie, who she just wanted to have a long and quiet life.

Vox has a thing for musky and floral scents, so I've likened her signature scent to Lust by Lush before. It has notes of jasmine, sandalwood, rose, and vanilla- a very unique profile. Her scent was the first thing River noticed about Vox, even before he laid eyes on her.
