You know who else Sans doesn't tell about the killings in a Neutral ending? Toriel. Is she even wondering /I don't know/ where the hell did the Ruins's Monsters went since Frisk's arrival?? Papyrus at least feels something about Sans' lies. But Toriel? Nope! Not a thing! By the way... How's he calling you at the end of Neutral runs, when you kill Pap and the Ruins' doors are still closed? ...Did he do the same thing as Pap? Like call every number subsequently?That would be a funny mental image.
I’m fairly certain he doesn’t need to tell Toriel. She probably knows. And she forgives Frisk all the same. She most likely reasons that they were just scared/didn’t know any better. That they were just a child, and that the killing wasn’t ill-intentioned. (It’s a character flaw of hers…)
However, he does fail to mention to her that his brother was among the ones killed. I think Sans is just trying to avoid an argument. Doesn’t want her pity. He knows it would bring too many conflicted feelings for Toriel, so he doesn’t tell her.
About the phone numbers: Maybe he did? Or maybe he still has the human’s number from a subsequent timeline? (I mean, that’s my theory regarding why Pap has your number too. Its nearly impossible that he really called all numbers and came across yours by accident.)
Just some more random stuff
For some reason I been trying to tell jokes or puns and they end up either going terribly wrong or just not funny I guess sans is the only real comedian who can actually tell real jokes you are the king of all puns and jokes and you rule *Bow Down in front of the king of all puns and jokes “King SANS” *
