Hello, you don't have to answer to this if its too personal, but I wondered, since you post most things with same-sex characters, if you're bisexual, or gay or smth? Not that it matters, I'm just curious
Hi..! Hm, it is quite a personal question and Iām not sure I am exactly equipped to answer it, but I will try my best.
Mm first of all, I donāt know if it is necessarily true that I postĀ āmost thingsā with same-sex characters. I mean, Steven Universe is an exception and thatās just because... all the characters on that show are... female coded... but SU-aside.
As for me personally, I am not quite comfortable with putting a label on myself. I can call myself cishet, because that is easy. The truth of the matter is, labels to describe how I feel about myself or to whom I am attracted donāt seem representative of me. A label carries with it certain connotations - and I would say also denotations, especially because language we use today online to describe gender and sexuality do not have any fixed and universal definition. The words we most commonly use here on this website are also overwhelmingly from a Western perspective. So words likeĀ āgayā orĀ ābisexualā orĀ ācisgenderā orĀ ātransgenderā fail to capture the full truth of a complicated experience.
There are words that people can use to describe me. And I may fit under any number of these categories that people wish to associate with me. But I myself do not want to claim any of these identities as my own.
I hope this answers your question, anon!
Me: *will literally risk death and anaphylactic shock to save a bug*
Smol: I canāt get over how kind you are QmQ
Me: no itās not cuz Iām so kind itās because I have a crippling fear of dead bugs based on a childhood trauma that I have this vague memory about that I donāt even know if itās real or not
Me: so thatās the basis of the fear. And I have a fear of window sills and ceiling lights bc they are like mass graveyards
Smol: that is oddly really adorable
Me: thx
Smol: just a really cute fear
Me: thx
š³ (I can't remember what question this is but I got excited cause the whale is cute)
š³: What do you look for in a friend?
Oh gosh! What an appropriate question coming from you, smol!
Of course that isnāt to say Iām not open to striking up a quick and amicable relationship with just about anyone! I am very open and friendly and I welcome interactions with anyone.
But Iāve had a few people come into my private messages asking if we can be friends. It doesnāt work that way??
I am courteous and friendly to everyone I meet - and I try to remain as such even in the face of hostility. But itās hard to try to cater to someone who is asking for a friendship based on⦠idk? Nothing?Ā
But to respond more directly to the question, in a friend, I look for respect. I want someone who will see me as someone who is worthwhile and deserving of respect. ^_^; I think I deserve that.

Iāve got this weird sleep guilt
Hey dad so I chipped my front tooth when I was nine-ish by smashing my face into a metal jungle gym bar playing this game called "cherry cherry" and now the filling I've had for 4+ years chipped off (somehow?? idk) so now I have a chipped front tooth all over again to go with my braces... I feel like a five year old. Idk why I'm telling you this but here we are
omg my son - I still love you, chipped tooth and all.
Here, since weāre disclosing embarrassing chipped tooth stories - I use my mouth to try to open things that my hands cannot (a lot of times). So I have a fair bit of confidence in my jaw strength ahahahah.
But I was trying to dislodge something - I donāt remember what - and I didnāt have a wrench or pliers on me. Yes, it was a metal thing. So I decide to resort to my teeth as I always do.
I hear a click and I think - did I loosen it? No. I chipped a small chunk off my bottom right front incisor.
Literally the stuff of my nightmares.
I guess there are a lot of nerves in teeth because damn that spot was sensitive for weeks.
Itās still a little rough/pointy and definitely still more sensitive than the rest of my teeth, but lesson learned: your teeth donāt do what metal tools that were literally built for that purpose do.
