 I’d also recommend you following the ‘zodiac’ tag here on tumblr. These days it’s just filled with people doing tags, but you can actually find some great posts as well.

 As for compatibility, don’t try to just learn like Leo + Aries = good, Cancer + Aquarius = bad, because that’s really not how it works. Instead, when trying to find out compatibility of two people, look at their charts and think of how what they’re like and how they might imagine their love life, individually. I don’t know if that makes sense so i’m gonna give you an example. You have two people:• Aquarius Sun, Virgo Moon, Virgo Rising, Gemini Venus• Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon, Libra Rising, Aquarius Venus  So Aquarius. They have Virgo Rising, so they might come off as cold or reserved, with the combination of Sun kinda weird. When they like someone, they’re super flirty. They definitely try to impress the person with wit and talk to them a lot. They love to have fun, but if they actually love someone, they can be partners for life. Cancer, on the other hand, would in this case be pretty extroverted in my opinion. They’d probably have many friends. When theyy like someone though, they usually become quite shy and are less likely to confess. They overthink A LOT. But they’re loyal and caring. Now, if we combine these two, what can we tell? They both most likely want a long-term relationship. Aquarius here is more likely to confess first and Cancer will appreciate that. Also they’re Moons are VERY compatible. And oH BOY DON’T GET ME EVEN STARTED ON THE COMPATIBILITY OF THEIR VENUS SIGNS. They might be different in some things, but i still consider them very compatible.  Sorry this is so long lmao, but i’m trying to show how other placements matter as well as analyzing the person a little bit. If you just say ‘Aquarius and Cancers are a horrible match’, first you’re kinda wrong and second you might miss on such an amazing relationship!

 Last but not least, look at people in your life. Sometimes, you’ll notice that they have similar opinion on certain things, or way of behaviour, habits, etc. That’s a way of learning too. Just don’t slide into stereotypes.

Today, for one reason or the other, I was reading this dialogue between Erasmus of Rotterdam and his son. The son wanted to learn a shortcut to memorize things quicker, but the conversation ends with this sentence from his father: "I do not know any other technique for committing things to memory than effort, than passion, than constant application."
