Drummond’s End Task #1
Basic Information
Full Name: Jonas Jackson Morgan
Nickname(s): JJ or Joanie, but only his twin sister ever called him that even though she knew he absolutely hated it, and she tried to make other people call him that too when they were in school. Jonas doesn’t get mad easily, but calling him either of these is a good way to get him pretty irritated really quick.

Date of Birth: October 13
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Nationality: American
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/him
Orientation:Â Heteroromantic/asexual
Language(s) Spoken: English
Accent: A very slight Southern twang that doesn’t really come out unless he’s really tired, or on the rare occasion that he gets drunk.
Physical Appearance
Face Claim: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Hair Colour: Dark brown/black
Eye Colour: Brown
Height: 5′9
Tattoos: On the inside of his right bicep in really elegant but simple font, he has the phrase “Home is Where the Heart Is” because he had a point in his life where he actually did feel at home for a while. On his left shoulder, he has a small image of Kermit the Frog that he got when he was drunk in college. He’s really embarrassed of it and it’s a big reason he doesn’t really like to drink too much, because he tends to make really dumb, impulsive decisions.
Piercings: None
Clothing Style: Jonas’s style is pretty versatile because it’s fairly simple. He doesn’t like to wear anything too fancy or anything that might draw too much attention to himself. He usually prefers nice jeans or slacks with a simple button up shirt. If he’s feeling a little dressier, he’s been known to add a tie, vest, and/or blazer depending on the weather and occasion. But for special events, he’s more than willing to don a nice suit, but only if he really needs to.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Due to being a blood donor to such a reckless and aggressive vampire for as long as he was, Jonas does have noticeable scars on his neck where Grace regularly fed from him. He doesn’t really like to think about them, but he does occasionally find himself absentmindedly running his fingers over it and it always makes him shudder as soon as he becomes aware that he’s doing it.
Personality
Label: The Romantic
Goals/Desires: More than anything, Jonas wants to just find somewhere he truly feels like he belongs. Nowhere has every fully felt like home to him, except for a short period of time when he first moved out of his childhood home. He’s had people in his life who have made him feel like he was part of a family, but he’s had bad luck in regards to those friendships and relationships being particularly long-term. He wants a sense of stability and permanence in his life.
Fears: Jonas has a constant fear nagging in the back of his head that he’ll end up completely alone with no one he fully trusts in his life. His experiences with people tend to lead to him being abandoned (whether or not it was deliberate), or him being turned against in some way or another. It’s led him to wishing he was a little more stand-offish with people to avoid getting attached to them too easily, because he’s found that all it ever does for him is cause him pain. He’s also completely terrified that Grace will somehow be able to track him down, despite any extra precautions that have been taken specifically to prevent that from happening. He remembers her always being strong-willed and aggressive, and is genuinely worried that not even the strongest magic could ever fully deter her from finding him and hurting him again, worse than ever before.
Hobbies: Jonas’s primary hobby is, and always has been, reading. Ever since he was a kid, he felt comfort in being taken on other people’s adventures when he had nowhere else to go, and he’s always looking forward to a new story and a new place he hasn’t been to before. When he isn’t reading though, he occasionally will bring out a sketchpad and start drawing. He doesn’t think he’s particularly good at it, but he finds it soothing and relaxing so he doesn’t worry about it. His drawings also rarely make it past just the pencil sketching stages before he puts them away.
Habits: Unconsciously touching the scars Grace left on him, tapping his fingers on most surfaces because he used to play piano, accidentally staying up all night because he’s engrossed in a book
