Odi is very rough with his past self, disgusted and ashamed too at some point. The boi suffers low self steem. Odi has this habit to isolate himself from others, even their loved ones. Anything handmade is special to Lu. To see you worked hard and put sentiment on a present means the world for her. Lu doesn't use to do gifts, she is more of showing affection with actions, like giving you food, keeping you warm, basically being a mom xD.
