My brother and I loooooved to play Resident Evil Outbreak 1+2 back then! We even were splitting up the characters and so he chose Kevin, Alyssa, Yoko and Mark and I played always just David, Cindy, George and Jim. They were all so unique and awesome and of course we had our favourites! Kevin, Alyssa, Cindy and David were very important to use back then and we always hoped, prayed for the third part of the series or the last years, to get remakes of part one and two. But as we all know... some dreams never will come true...
As I heard about RE Requiem and a char called Grace Ashcroft, it was immediately clear to me: I have to play this game! I mean:
ALYSSA ASHCROFT + GRACE ASHCROFT
As they mentioned HER (Alyssa) in some way, they finally got me!
(Not to mention here Mr. Leon S. Kennedy - isn't he the most adorable cherry on the cream?!)
I know there is a huge hype going on about this new part of the franchise... but I played the first part in the original version on PS (yes, the fist old PlayStation.. the one which work better upside down and balanced on 4 empty rolls of toilet paper... yes, this long I am fan of this series/franchise/monument of games) and I am glad, some characters are still with us and are allowed to grow old with the fan-base.
Games are for distraction and fun and escaping the crazy world outside, not only for sexual satisfaction or content creators, they are made for EVERYONE and they have special places in our hearts! Killing zombies is a hobby, like going hiking or making puzzles and I swear, I never killed one of our neighbours to kill the final boss in record time. I am old an in love with games, but the crazy people are often not gamers, gamers are just an easy target.
So enjoy this new game or the old games or any kinda game you love❣

I love story-driven games (and I am an otoge girlie, so I actually love visual novels and I played them like a total maniac when I was younger, if you say any otoge from 10 years ago or older I probably have played it), but boy, let me tell you, I find Dispatch... mid.
I'd be sooner playing 112 again than I would touch Dispatch again. You know, the game where you play as an emergency line dispatcher where you inevitably will get some trauma because of one unavoidable incident in it. Too real, man, too real.
Also, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is... ugh. Mid and French. I think the French will accept my reason to not fully enjoy it because it's French, but they might be offended by the mid comment, those arrogant bastards. 🤣
There is so much disrespect to KCD II in the mainstream gaming circle and it disgusts me, but that's what I get for stepping into that space. I can't help it, the algorithm thought I would like them (I do not, their takes are always surface level, it's pure brainrot. Please let me go back to my nerdy corner.)
You know, anyone who glazes Donkey Kong I will not hold grudge against. I didn't hear of it until the GOTY nominee announcement, haven't played it, but looks fun.
As for Hades II and Silksong... well, I'm heavily biased toward them too. Hades II is the only early access game I ever bought without being let down. Silksong is so fun even though it made me cry. I had to play Hollowknight to remember how much easy we had it back then.
You know, speaking of Hades II and Silksong, I found it interesting how they went to opposite direction as a sequel. Hades II is relatively easier than Hades, but mostly because Hades is a physically demanding game. I had to stop because my hands physically hurt. Hades II saves me with the sprint. Zag can only dash and it's fucking painful. Meanwhile, Silksong is technically harder. I'm just thankful my controller is fine. As hard as they might be, they did not push me to rage quit.
Unlike Dave the Diver. I will remember you, faux cozy game. I hate you forever, Nexon.
All in all, yay, Dispatch didn't make it to GOTY shortlist, jog on, glazers. (Honestly, I am not really sure why I don't like Dispatch much, but maybe because it really doesn't feel like a game for the most part even when you put it side by side with traditional visual novels and point-and-click games, it's just like an anime with a bunch of well-known voice actors in it, but definitely not Osomatsu-san, that one is fun).
Okay guys, I don’t like crossover ships, but you can’t tell me that the crossover ship name for Noctis and Lightning isn’t adorable. Like nightlight? People
Hi There! I'm Bored And I'm In The Mood To Research, So Ask Me Something And I Can Answer It Objectively And/Or Subjectively If You So Like (Unless It's Political, In Which Case It Stays Objective).

The Tumblr Dragon Age community is active every day of the week! We love to share what we're working on and support each other's creative endeavors. In order to make sure we see those posts--and to encourage our friends to share their own work--we tag each other.
Every day has a different theme. Some work for both art and writing, and some are more geared for writing.
Last Line Monday (Writing)
Tidbit/Teaser Tuesday (Art & Writing)
WIP Wednesday (Art & Writing)
Throwback Thursday (Art & Writing)
Fan Work Friday (Art & Writing)
Friday Writing Circle (Writing)
Soundtrack Saturday (Any)
Six Sentence Sunday (Writing)
Read on for more information about what each daily theme is about, and how to get involved!
Tumblr Etiquette
These are the unspoken rules of Tumblr Tag Games:
If you are tagged by someone in their own post, reblog it with a note of support in the tags or replies!
If you were tagged by someone, tag them when you make your own post so they can see it!
If you tag someone and they make their own post, reblog it with a note of support in the tags or replies!
If someone asks not to be tagged, please do not tag them.
What does participation in the event look like?
▸ Make your post.
Maybe someone tagged you, or maybe you want to get the ball rolling! Choose the piece of your work you want to share and make a tumblr post.
▸ Ping the person who tagged you (if applicable).
If you were tagged by someone, begin with "I was tagged by @tumblr". Tagging them lets them have a chance to see what you're working on and cheer for you!
▸State what the tag event is.
Regardless, copy/paste or summarize the rules of the specific tag game, such as the ones listed at the end of this post for Last Line Monday, WIP Wednesday, etc.
▸Show us the work you wanted to share!
It's polite to put long, wordy WIPS under a "read more" cut to avoid clogging the dashboards. :)
▸End by tagging forward.
Some people choose not to tag anyone, if it's very late in the day, or if you're shy. You can always say "I tag whoever is reading this post to share their work next! Tag me so I can reblog it too :)" or something similar.
What are the tag games/daily events?
▸Last Line Monday (Writing)
Post the last line you wrote on your WIP with no context and tag forward!
▸Tidbit/Teaser Tuesday (Art & Writing)
Post a small piece of your WIP (a few sentences at most, or a cropped piece of an image) without any context, for your followers and friends to make guesses about. Tag at least one person to post their own.
▸WIP Wednesday (Art & Writing)
Share something you're proud of from a WIP, new or old, and tag forward!
▸Throwback Thursday (Art & Writing)
Share a short excerpt or a glimpse of an old work. If it's posted somewhere, put a link so we can appreciate it there, too! Don't forget to tag forward.
▸Fan Work Friday (Art & Writing)
If you’re tagged, MAKE A NEW POST to showcase one fanartist and/or fanfic for any fandom you recommend (with links), and tag someone to give their recs next!
Don’t forget to reblog the rec you were tagged in, and include these rules! :)
Bonus: Choose works by people you aren’t super tight with, or choose older works that maybe haven’t gotten some love in a while. :)
▸Friday Writing Circle (Writing)
DA Drunk Writing Circle is a casual Friday evening event for all Dragon Age writers, focused on writing small pieces based on prompts. This is NOT a tag game, but a community writing circle you can sign up for and participate WHENEVER you feel like it, with very low stakes!
▸Soundtrack Saturday
Share a song (or a few) about a canon character, an OC, a fic, or something else that you think it goes with, and tag forward!
