For those that don’t know Dane’s father, Rory, was also my muse for almost 10 years. I retired him (something that still pains me) because it had become painful to play hi due to many circumstances. But most people on this blog I interact with now don’t know him and don’t know why Dane’s issues arise… So I’ve been feeling like telling Dane’s story more and more but to do so I have to touch on Rory. So here are some things you need to know.

Rory was a talented dancer, as a child he picked up dancing from watching television and Cheryl (trying to be a good mother and keep him away from her husband) encouraged it. Because of his sheer raw talent Rory got into some of the best dance programs in New York with a paid scholarship for most. Of course Rory loved dancing, he adored it because it took him out of his home life which was hellish and also because he was good at it. He was almost as good at dancing as he was at taking drugs.

Rordan Brady Hewton would become the youngest principal dancer for the New York City ballet at age 19. He had a horrible reputation for skipping rehearsals and dancing while under the influence but Rordan still managed to dazzle. He was truly born to dance. People described him as dark, dangerous, destructive and yet so beautiful he would bring tears to most people’s eyes.

By the time of his death (aged 23) he was not just an accomplished dancer but an accomplished model too.
