Cooper McCoy

(for those of you who haven’t “met” him yet!)

age: 33 (in 2018)

d.o.b: August 18th, 1985 

from: born in Melbourne, Australia. Family moved to San Antonio, Texas when he was 10. 

family: Estranged from/disowned by parents after failing out of college and coming out as bi. Hasn’t seen family in years. Parents as of yet unnamed. Oldest of four siblings. @deputy-janai​ ‘s Janai McCoy is his younger sister.  

height: 6′4″

So, basically before the whole Jesse and Faith rumour hit the halls and Jesse and Tyler fell apart... They were best friends. Even more than that however they had a group. A way tight-knit group of guys who hung out every chance they got and played video games in whoever's turn it was that week's decked out basement. They were not cool and that was totally cool by them. Mostly, anyways. They looked up to guys like Jason Bennett who just always looked like he had it so together and had really hot friends like Hailie Tyler and Claire Knighton (swoon!). Anyways, they grew up together. Went through thick and thin in thee most awkward years of their lives and then...it all fell apart.

Because Tyler couldn't keep his mouth shut. Or, more like he couldn't keep his mouth shut around the wrong person. Everyone knows that once you let something slip on accident around Greg Porter it's all over. Jesse earned a reputation and Tyler lost his BFF. The nerd squad got broken up because those two couldn't get it together and we all know how badly Cooper deals with confrontation. He and Robbie were the only one who weren't involved in the drama but then Robbie started to see the person Jesse had started to pretend to be. He didn't like it.

And then there was one, basically. Just Cooper and a group chat that hadn't been touched in years. They all ended up closer with different friends. Cooper with his childhood BFF Noah and Robbie with his childhood besties Rose and Carrie. Jesse didn't need anybody and Tyler acted like he didn't. It was like all of a sudden they were all strangers. Completely different people.

And man, Cooper misses them all so much. Sure, he still talks to them all- Ty's on the football team, Jesse on the squad and Robbie's always around. They never fell out. But things just got so messed up, you know? And it sucks, it really does. Cooper misses them and he misses their old group chat too.
