Plot Twist: You Didn't Die

Maybe the story starts with the hero finding out you died, or maybe you're dragged off screen just before a gunshot. Or, possibly, you suffer a wound that no mortal could possibly survive. Then, in the hero's most desperate hour (or just in time for sequel bait), you'll reappear to save the day. Something makes you stronger than most, or perhaps there was simply a grand, miserable sort of miscommunication regarding your status. Nonetheless, just about everyone will be happy to see you, and more than happy to hear the story of how you survived. Just hope that the author won't make a habit of this- otherwise no one will know what to do when you die for real.

A hand written letter - 8 for in his understanding there is something unique in the act of sitting to think about another person and materialize it into words. It would make him feel both special and not worthy and confused. After all, if she admired things in him, why she kissed the paper instead? ( As you can see Caim can be simultaneously capable of a genius lucidity and discernment and absolutely dense too)

A tooth - 3 for in his understanding when one provokes violence against another, one violent themselves as well. And to imagine the suffering of one or of another it isn’t pleasant. And is 3 it is for that is something endearing in such possessive (to not say toxic) act of protection. Let’s remember, Caim does not have a common compass to compare when it comes to morality.😆

Candy wrapper - Oh no, boyyyyy, you didn’t! You just unlocked a first base secret! It’s a 10! Remember when I said he had no childhood? Well, not unlike the creature in Frankenstein, Caim has the eyes of wonder of a child discovering the world. And you know what the underside of candy wrapper is? Bright, colour changing and colourful! Three of the most interesting characteristics! Sorry, not sorry, Azriel, but if the intention was to disappoint, it joyfully backfired! Haha

Hand flipping - 9, for Caim would understand it as a game, like that one you have to catch another’s hand based only in feeling, observation and perception. Plus he will get distracted and have light fun.

Mortality necklace - 5, it would be interesting for him to know how it is to be fully human, however part of him would always feel uncomfortable knowing this is not who he truly is. To be in eternal search of who he is is still better than an eternity pretending to know what he isn’t.

Headcannons

Amethyst Calm: Caim sleeps on his stomach and if he had a lot of pillows and blankets he would love it, yes!

Rosy Touch: How do they show affection nonverbally? Are they likely to show affection with their words as well?

Garnet Core: What sorts of things would they be willing to do for friends? For family? For their significant other(s)?

Stonework Headcannons

Makeshift Stone: Caim is a very curious boy, so if we are speaking of his first contact with internet, you would see searches like “ What is good? What is evil? What is love?”. As if they were so easily answered questions. But truly would not exist one thing he would not search, he likes to search about herbs(remnants of his witch past). He is incapable of feeling embarrassed or ashamed for his curiosity, those are societal concepts that escapes him, for without his memories there is no ingrained feelings historically rooted in the concept of “sin” nor the toxic concepts of masculinity. So there is no “pride” or “ honor” in him in the bias we commonly learn since childhood. So yes, you would see in his search history sex related stuff. And I always say “would” because he does not have contact with internet. Jenny made sure of that. Is not interesting for her that Caim knows subjects that will lead him to be independent and eventually be his own person without her, be of political, religious, romantic or any other matter. The only source of information he has is from the books of Jennifer’s library, that were carefully witchcrafted and manipulated to contain only what is relevant, to her, for Caim to see. But should he have contact with internet that would not be limits to the themes he searches about .

Rosy Touch: He would sit down by people’s side in comforting silence, tangle his hands with another and squeeze, keep eye contact, or even land softly his hand on another shoulder. If you read his backstory you probably will guess right that he is touch starved. So the touch would be a big thing of demonstrating true love because it too requires a great obstacle conquest too that is his trust issues and paranoia. He would read poems and bake sweets and give flowers, carefully composed to mean things according to its colors. And the greatest meaningful affection gesture: kiss another’s hand, for he understand the hands as a materialisation of peoples attitudes, for is with them the actions are concretised. So to kiss someone’s hand is and utmost act of reverence, admiration and love. And yes, he would use his words too, one of his qualities is that he is filterless, there is no societal blocking so he says what he thinks, is the extreme of spontaneous honesty. So would not be anything in his words besides deep care and deep empathy. He would not judge, simply because he wasn’t taught to.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENTS PART. 1

// It depends of your concept of evil and in what moment of Caim’s growth journey we are speaking about. Let me clarify.

We don’t call a lion evil because they kill to feed, it does not hurt it’s prey with the intension of making it suffer. There is no intent or consciousness of the harm in it. The same way, if we are talking about Caim in the beginning of his journey where he is still trying to grasp the intricate concepts of good and bad, wrong and right, then no, Caim is not able to be evil.

Now, is he able to do harm? Yes, yes he is. He is able to hurt another, even more if it is in the beginning of his evolution arch for his powers are still unknown and hard to dwell to him.

You are home to so many people and yet you're not at home with yourself. Everyone needs something from you and you desperately try to prove that you're enough but you're never enough, never good enough, never even you despite all of that. Your hands shake but only when you're never looking at them and your smile is so ever-present you can't help but wonder if its fake, wonder how much of you is real. You're a caretaker, but are you even good at that, or are you faking yourself out into believing you're something that you wish you could, someone that someone else needed you to be when you were small and so full of need and hope and fragility?
