I feel so betrayed.
Was looking for fun and feel-good movie for the evening, when I saw on hbo ‘The Addams Family’ with the picture of Anjelica Houston and Raul Julia, and Christina Ricci and all the rest.
How big was my disappointment when instead the 3D animation of the version from 2019 started playing! Like...Â
Well, now I’m fifteen minutes in and just wonder why is this stupid Pugsley’s swordplay show named sabre mazurka? I guess it sounded to some American writers cool and kinda slavic like mamushka. But this word exist in Polish and mazurek means traditional Easter cake or a folk dance which has nothing to do with swords.
You know what has something to do with swords and is also a dance? Lezginka which they could have found in the first Google search result (in Britannica) if they would just try to check what this Polish word they liked really meant.
Probably it’s just the smallest thing that would annoy me as the watching will progress but I still needed to point that out.
