Why the hate?
More writings Had to find a paper and found these first Enjoy Warning: slightly depressing Why the hate? I went to public school as a kid, now they had a saying at my school. Twas their golden rule, “treat others like you want to be treated.” Now this is an interesting rule, for the fact how much it makes sense. Though it has a loop hole. What if someone is rude to them. What am I to do, I shouldn’t be mean back. Because I don’t want to be treated like that. Though if nobody ever tells him they're wrong, they’ll keep doing it, scott free. Now maybe I should tell someone, that so and so is rude. But my teacher won’t here me, we got a tattle tale bear. “He’ll listen to what you have to say, help your problems be fixed.” Yes, because I want to talk to an inanimate object in a corner about my problems during class time. That makes you look weak. Makes even more bullies want to pick on you. Now I have multiple bullies picking on me, for being weak, or just an idiot. And you know how I got there, being nice to people. Is that what we want to teach our kids, being an asshole is the way to rule in life. To screw everyone in your way is the proper way to conduct business. That ruling over others, squashing them like bugs is the way the world runs.    Now don’t get my words mixed up, I’m not saying to hide it from the kids. I’m saying that reality needs to be known, not a false sense of happiness. I want people to realize, life can be happy if you make it. But if you sit around and do nothing, life’s going to treat you like shit. Like your a piece of gum on the bottom of a dress shoe. Earth isn’t a utopia, we can all agree on that. And it will never become one, and that’s ok. But we don’t need to tell our kids it is one. Life ain’t all it's cracked up to be, it sucks. Were trying to make a quick buck over trying to help out those who can’t even make a buck. Greed runs the world, and everyone knows that. Their advocates against the idea, wanting a change, but even they realize what they're fighting for is futile. We belittle each other, kill each other, massacre each other, we’ve done it all throughout history. It’s almost like a built in population controller. We say each death is a tragedy, yet we all turn a blind eye at the thousands dying due to not being in the social norm. Killing for not following an unjust, unwritten rule. And apparently were fine with it considering how little we’ve done about it. So I ask, why the hate. What puts me over someone else, and what puts someone else over me. How did we create a natural caste system, after fighting against it throughout history. Maybe life is like the unchecked complaint box at a doctor’s office. Maybe life’s problems weren’t meant to be solved, but dealt with. But then I gotta ask, why do we act like these problems don’t exist. Denying them doesn’t mean their not there. The world will always have someone who’s an asshole, but nobody dares to ever ask the asshole why? Why did it come to this? Making others feel littler just to boost self-esteem. And these people know what they’re doing is wrong. But that’s how they learned to deal with life’s problems. They found their own way, to escape the truth. One we as humanity don’t have. Now these people life’s aren’t affected until they get older. When nobody ever told them to stop. Maybe they told it to a tattle tale bear instead of a person who can help them through their problems. Maybe it’s the fact as kids, nobody cares about you. The special snowflake child, is just one among many. Hated for being slightly different, the child melts away all the parts they can’t bare to deal with. Insecurities about topics exploited to no end. Leaving them demoralized later in life. So growing up you have to realize, life sucks. Were all indirectly fucking up each other’s future.  That doesn’t mean run from each other, we’re social creatures. It’s a trait we were dealt sadly. We all have bent up hate, some people have just suppressed so much, we forget it's there. So use the words you bothered to learn in between the tears of childhood, express what problems you had. Understand life is hateful, but we don’t have to have it that way.
