Cut the top shoulder-area off, leaving a seam allowance. Cut up that to use as a pattern for the rest! I can give more details if you need :)
And this is why I asked for help, because other people think of things I didn't think of. Like using the cut piece as a pattern piece because that is really simple and makes sense.
