Hey guys -  it’s been awhile! 

Same old same old at the Chamber – just digging through old newspaper articles! I’ve learned more about the MACC and what they do for the community. I’ve attended some board meetings and ribbon cuttings, and last week I was asked to do some research in social media management. MACC is looking to try get the younger generations more involved and to help spread the word of events, seminars, etc. to a wider audience. It was a nice change of pace for me, and I’m still looking into it! I was also able to decorate a cement pig – I was told it was a tradition here at Madison! And full discloser, our pig is awesome. It may or may not be a pig in a taco…

The workshops and extra activities we do with other MAIN interns have been so much fun! A small group of us went to Cincinnati and had a blast. I love working with Rhonda Deeg on stain glass restoration, and I am able to help her clean the windows on the Presbyterian Church on Broadway! I unfortunately had to miss the Regatta, but I’ve still been exploring the city – I can’t wait for the next upcoming events!
