Do you have any HCs for any version of Benophie for when they realised they were raising ABC 2.0? Or did someone, like Violet, point it out? I'm just imagining it dawning on them one day when they're all together, like ABC are talking and you can see CAW are unintentionally mirroring them haha
In my BNG series it was gradually acknowledged how the Benophie boys each took after ABC.
Everyone knew from the jump that Alexander was a carbon copy of his father, from looks to personality to being a mummy's boy; he was all Benedict.
Sophie had the been the one to notice that a young William possessed the cheek and mischief not of his Aunt Hyacinth, like Benedict had initially thought, but of his Uncle Colin. Benedict only truly saw what his wife meant much to his horror one evening when Colin was sat side by side with his little nephew as the pair wolfed down second helpings of dinner.
The comparison between Charlie and Anthony had only come about years later down the line during a game of Pall Mall when the former had been playing against his younger brother and cousins. It was Violet who had pointed out how Charlie might be Benedict's son but took after his Uncle Anthony as the young man's competitive nature got the best of him and he cursed Edmund for knocking his ball into some brambles, which he then spent the next several rounds thrashing his mallet with in anger.
I quite like the idea of one day, say, the husbands of the Bridgerton ladies frowning over at the sight of ABC in conversation and off to the left CAW being not only positioned in the same way but coincidentally dressed similarly to the Bridgerton brother they emulate most.
"God fucking bless Sophie Bridgerton is all I can say." Simon muttered to his brothers-in-law and Phillip, Michael, and Gareth all nodded in commiserating agreement.
