Hi, I've just read through your analysis, It's amazingly insightful:) The bit about the battery really got me thinking! I always thought it was rather unnecessary to have Noah fall down the shaft & hurt his leg, do you think this was deliberately added to show how a person could survive the drop due to the cushioning of dead bodies. Say if, Beth was presumed dead (maybe she fakes it with Dr Edwards help?) and dumped down the shaft, she'd be able to attempt another daring escape.

I think the leg, is much like Beth's ankle — serves a purpose. Beth's injury was the thing that made easier for her to be taken — and so was Noah's. [Notice how Beth's healed? For those with the theory only 7 days have passed since fall of the prison are nuts.] And sure it could be to show you could outlive it. It's not realistic a guy with previous leg injury would fall and not flare it up — but most everything comes back in this show. I'd even imagine there is something lurking for Noah, down the line.
Anyways, that's a really cool idea, that she might fall! It gives me AMAZING visuals. They could do a lot with that creatively!

You know about the Last Supper symbolisms…Yes, Christ did sacrifice himself in the name of love but….didn't he rise again three days later, while his followers believed him to be dead? Maybe the group will think she’s dead and we will too for a while, only for Beth to turn up later on, perhaps in the finale. ( Sorry If this sounds stupid )

NO IT IS NOT stupid. Honestly? It was my first thought when 502 aired, and thinking about Daryl/Beth situation — but I didn't want to say it out loud. A Christian friend of mine, we chatted about it, but it seemed to be too much -- too literal. Plus I thought I'd sound crazy!
