#abandoment issues

bf!giyuu with abandonment issues, who finally trusted you not to leave him after months of gentle coaxing, even as romantic partners. It's not that he didn't trust you, he just had trauma is all.

bf!giyuu who woke up and panicked almost immediately, because where were you?? He got off the bed of your shared apartment as he frowns in fear, desperately opening doors and looking in odd places you'd never be hiding in.

"Y/n...?" He called out uncertainly.

"My love... Where are you..?" He whimpered in fear.

bf!giyuu who feels his chest get tighter as he realises the suitcases and bags he'd been seeing around in your shared apartment recently were gone. Had you finally gotten bored of him and left? He grabs your pillow in a frenzy, hit tears threatening to spill out of his pretty eyes. He grips it tightly and makes another round in the apartment before dropping to the ground near the door, curling up pathetically and letting the tears flow free, sobbing into your pillow.

bf!giyuu who doesn't realise you were home, immediately dropping to his side, panicked as to why your boyfriend was curled up on the ground hugging your pillow, not to mention crying too! He had his face snuggled into your pillow, inhaling your scent because you couldn't be gone right? You wouldn't.. You promised.. Didn't you?

"Giyuu?" You asked, confusion clear in your voice.

"Baby, baby what's wrong?" You say frantically, trying to get a look at his face.

bf!giyuu who gets oh so embarrassed when you explain you'd just gone out to buy pads because your period came unexpectedly. And the suitcases and bags? He'd somehow miss them in the corner in his frenzied state. Plus, they weren't even yours, you were just holding on to it for a friend. He looks up at you, face flushed, lips in a soft pout and eyes slightly puffy from his tears, which were still leaking out of his eyes, desperate for your love and reassurance. You end up just hugging him there, whispering affirmations and tracing soothing patterns on his back.

"Its okay darling, I'm here now.."

"I love you, you know I wouldn't do this to you."

"Please stop crying sweetheart, I'm sorry m'kay?"

"I love you I love you I love you."

All the while he just takes it, letting it calm his nerves, evening out his breathing and sniffling less often.

bf!giyuu who makes you promise to never do this again, and inform him or go out with him next time. You agree of course, anything for your darling. You kiss him all over, declaring your love for him in murmurs between kisses. You continue this routine as you managed to lead him back to the room, settling into bed and cuddling him. He fell asleep really late, holding onto you like a lifeline that you were --- for him at least. You reciprocated, your words of affirmation slurring and trailing off as you too, fell asleep.
