I have been going on and on about Syd´s scallop because IK it´s the star dish.

But I just realized that Carmy knew that since S3.

So that dish was originally developed by Syd a few months earlier (S3), and Carmy never tweaked it. It was even in the teaser for S3 last year:

It was perfect all along, and he kept it like that, even when he recalibrated the whole Chaos menu unilaterally to "prove to them what they were capable of", in S3.

Storer brought it back and displayed it front and center:

naming a whole ep after it to tie it up to the Star´s narrative that included introducing Mr. Clark´s character and showing us this dream, The Bear´s dreamweavers made come true for that girl:

Syd scallop was always a winner, and Carmy knew it from second 1, so he respected it, even when he changed everything else. That´s how much he respects her and how highly he thinks of her skills. He didn´t have to improve, elevate, or correct it in any way, shape, or form; it was Michelin-perfect from the very get-go and hidden in the menu in plain sight since S3.

This is aligned with my Meat, AKA: Sydcarmy Sex theory, as well as the lamb he´s still stuck in being part of it.

But when the poster came out, I was like no way Storer will be that obvious, so I thought this was the Sydcarmy confession dish

Since Syd takes pics of all his dishes, one day going through her pics on her phone or her IG, she cracks the code herself and realizes he´s using her colors as his inspo and calls him out on it, and THAT´S WHEN HE REALIZES SHE´S RIGHT! And has to admit it at least to himself, that she has a point and then they talk about it, over dinner or something, (bc they are no longer working together atp) and then they fuck, and then they start working together again bc Sydcarmy established relationship cooks together at home all the time, obvs, and that´s how he falls back in love with cooking and eventually comes back to the restaurant Braciole style, wearing a blue apron and just like that starts to cook right next to her, maybe chops some onions, as if he never left in the first place?
