3 yötä jäljellä ja yöjuna matka Windhoek:iin joutaa romukoppaan

Olin tänä aamuna hereillä jo kello puoli seitsemän ja seitsemän aikaan lähdin huoneesta kävelemään kohti respaa. matkalla katsoin yläkerran ikkunoita ja huomasin että valoja ei näkynyt missään ikkunassa. Oli turhaa siis lähteä yläkertaan kun kaikki vielä nukkui siellä. Palasin takaisin huoneeseeni miettimään mitä teen tänään.

Minun piti luovuttaa huone kello 10 aamull ja yöjuna Windhoek:iin…

It’s impossible not have A Tribe Called Quest heading this week’s playlist after the horrible news today that Phife Dawg had died. So young, too, at only 45. I had just been listening to The Low End Theory last week, and the review on Instagram seemed to be one of my most popular posts ever, so it seems many of you were listening, too! In honor of the legendary “Five Foot Assassin”, I kick off this week’s list with “Buggin’ Out”, which in itself starts off with a sick bass line, and an even sicker verse by Phife showing everyone just why he was the man. Once that is through, though, you’ll find quite a nice assortment of awesome tracks - some are more uptempo (do not miss Le Tigre’s “Deceptacon”!) and some are a bit on the earnest, pining side of things. A good sonic description of my past week, ending with another great we lost this year in his last ever hurrah, which is as relevant to me this week as it will be to many people in the many weeks/months/years to come.
