It might seem quiet right now, but we are busy working on season 3. Some scene compositing and enimation is already done, and if we keep at it, season 3 might even air as early as late 2026 or early 2027. Keep an eye out!
Thinking back on aathadte and how everything happens because of Mishka's deep seated lonelyness. Pilot episode establishes that not even his well meaning roommate wants to form a connection with him (like Bayani is nice, but also clearly not someone who would organically be friends with him) And this sets him up for so much manipulation (of which he even seems aware of and inviting sometimes).
And then you have Milph who in this role where he has full control over Mishka, also physically, could make him do anything. And in s1 it seems that Milph is the true villain if you look at it right. That he's going to derail the main villain (Captain?)s plan and that he knows exactly what he's doing.
Till you get to meet his friend/rival in s2 and it's like: this man has no fucking idea what he's doing either, because he's drenched in the same exact lonelyness. He wants quick fixes and anything that will make him seem in control for the next 5 seconds. He is an outlier of his species raised in a lab with no social skills and a position that won't really let him form any to anyone from his own planet (because any success of his will mean the captain will wipe out the rest of organically born members as unnecesary, since he can just 3d print what he wants now).
So you end up with two extemely lonely people, just crashing into each other, and making a beautiful horrible mess of a relationship.
