A blast from the past I have never shared on Instagram! Brought some prints out to ship to a long-time fan. This extra large three color print, made in 2012 features characters I developed in college called The Aardvark Scouts. These masked creatures would always be featured in an unusual, usually comical situation. Some situations were based on personal experiences like playing cards at Waffle House (stone lithograph) or riding the New York Metro (woodcut). Sometimes they were fantasy such as a peacock fashion show in the desert or battling a giant platypus. I like the juxtaposition of ominous faceless beings in comical situations. It can be fun to imagine what is happening in each image or enjoy it for its weirdness.
