#aac progress

I work on AAC again. If anyone want to see my newest addition, here it is.

PS: most sub folders empty because that lot of work :(

When me and parents went to cafe, I used my AAC to tell them what number table I wanted and that I wanted to sit by the window.

When ordering, I used my AAC along with my voice but not for everything cus I struggle lots with volume, coherency & verbalising thoughts. I ordered a hot chocolate on oat milk, some bacon & only bacon with my aac cus I wasn’t that hungry.

Because this was new cafe, I had to ask worker where the toilets are. Which for me was really nerve raking as I don’t ask for myself often. Lucky mum walked with me just in case so I wouldn’t have a full panic attack. The worker looked a little puzzled when I used my AAC but understood after a little while.

Then near the end of the time at the cafe, a toddler decided to be a little gremlin and pick their nose and stuck it in my food! :(

I used my AAC to politely say along with facial expressions , “boogers not good for belly. It make tummy go ouch! Boogers do not go in food, only tissues.” Which they slowly understood cus I used the keyboard option and saved the image to show them too so they could see visuals along with text & voice.
