Anonymous Request: CAW: 3803 is confused why no one hits on 1146 when she thinks he's very handsome and kind and everyone in the body seems to think he's perfect/amazing. 1146 tries to tell her it's because he either intimidates others w/his stoic unfriendly demeanor, is too passive at interactions and uncomfortable outside his comfort zone outside his circle, his musings and emotional mood swings throw them off, he's the most awkward cell alive. She still doesn't get it. -_-;
.
.
.
AE-3803 didn’t consider herself the most observant cell in the body. She asked questions, tried her best to stay alert and paid attention when the situation demanded it, but she never truly noticed things unless they were so obvious that everyone else knew about it or if someone pointed it out. In this situation, these factors were somewhat intertwined.
You see, she had been signing in for another work cycle with AA-5100 to accompany her. NT-4201 was assigned some time off due to injuries sustained after the most recent viral invasion, but was otherwise fine. While 5100 was directing a few fresh faces to the most recent updated map that was mounted on the wall, 3803 kept herself busy with taking note of the many oxygen canisters that she was required to deliver that day.
She had never thought about it before, but she was oddly reminded of U-1146. They were both upright, could withstand a lot of pressure, impossible to break, and there were times where 3803 was somewhat happy to carry them. Of course, 1146 was a lot better to carry and hang around with.
He was also cuter to look at… a better conversationalist…
“Who’re you thinking about?”
3803 blinked. “Mr. Neutrophil.”
5100 smirked. “I wasn’t expecting you to answer so candidly. Should I be asking why?”
“Do you think that Mr. Neutrophil is good looking?”
Eyes wide like saucers and mouth gaping like a fish, 5100 whipped back to check on her young friend. She was so in shock, 5100 found herself reeling again when she saw 3803 nonchalantly grab a spare clipboard and check the address for the signer instead of acting like she said something scandalous in front of a close friend!
How blunt can 3803 be?
It took several tries for 5100 to gather whatever sense she had left to ask, “What?”
That caught 3803’s attention.
It wasn’t the question itself, but rather, it was the way her coworker had said it. Compared to 3803, 5100 was cool and level headed, the sort of cell that would remain calm even when the body was in the throes of a great crisis. However, even 5100 fell prey to circumstances that seemed too volatile or out of the ordinary to even try treating them like everyday catastrophes.
There was no way 3803 would say something like that without breaking the facade of tranquility laced with curiosity.
“You know,” 3803 said bluntly, “attractive. Don’t you think that Mr. Neutrophil would be considered a catch for anyone trying to pursue him?”
“Are you…” 5100 choked on her original question of ‘Are you trying to pursue Mr. Neutrophil?’ to something not as obvious, “are you implying that someone out there is trying to pursue him?”
“But that’s the thing!” 3803 gestured to all the cells milling about the area. While most were other red blood cells prepping for the beginning of the cycle, there were also a number of immune cells (most neutrophils, but there were also a number of platelets and macrophages) interspersed among the populace. A few of these cells happened to glance at 3803 for her outburst, but shortly returned to their duties when she waved them off with a shy smile. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard anyone say anything positive about him. Ever.”
5100, now understanding that 3803 was only concerned about her friend’s prospects, had somewhat calmed down. The brunette took a breath to collect her thoughts and to make sure that she didn’t blurt out the first thing that had come into her mind.
Her young friend wasn’t ready for that conversation yet.
“Well,” she began diplomatically, “have you considered it’s because he’s an immune cell? Most cells outside of the immune system aren’t too attracted to the cells who defend them because they can be quite… overzealous at times. Also, he’s…” No offense to 1146, but even 5100 was immediately on guard when meeting him for the first time. Not even 5100’s cool headed nature was enough to have her hold firm and steady in the face of a bloodthirsty neutrophil. “He’s not exactly the friendliest upon first meeting.”
This time, it was 3803 who openly gaped at her.
“What are you talking about? Mr. Neutrophil is so amazing!” The clipboard that 3803 had been loosely gripping in her hands was thrown aside to a nearby desk. The clatter of plastic did little to dissuade the smaller erythrocyte from ranting with vehement passion about the wonders of her best immune cell friend. “He’s kind, compassionate—have you seen him take care of Backwards Cap and Leader Platelet?—he takes care of his squad members, has a good eye for tactics and strategy, and—”
As the younger red blood cell continued to speak up about the many virtues and strengths that her friend had, 5100 couldn’t help but smile in irritated fondness. Cluelessness wasn’t always an endearing trait, specifically if it could land 3803 in trouble, but 5100 was willing to let that slide.
If 3803 could still find and embrace the negatives while actively looking for the positives in her friend, then so be it. Perhaps she’ll realize one day that there was a reason why she was so quick to his defense.
“—and... Are you laughing at me!” An enraged, but mildly amused pout turned down the corners of 3803’s lips.
“Of course not!” Feeling just a tad sisterly, 5100 dismissed professionalism completely and lightly pinched 3803’s cheek. “Talk to your neutrophil friend later. Maybe he’ll give you some better insight about his love life.”
It got exceedingly difficult to bite back a laugh at how 3803’s eyes beamed with sheer happiness at the mention of 1146.

I saw one doujin where 3803 is taking and there's a image of 5100 showing she's thinking of her. however in the panel 1146 has a sappy smile with hearts floating around him. I couldn't help but remember canon when Dendritic spilled all the pictures, one of them was 1146 waving enthusiastically to 3803 because he thought she was waving to him. But in reality she didn't even see him because she was waving back to 5100 standing behind 1146. It made me think in that doujin 3803 was gushing about -
2 5100 but 1146 misunderstood and thought she was talking about him. I totally consider something like that very canon. XD 1146's idolization of Basophil might get more attention from fans. But come on who was there for 3803 from day 1 inspiring and supporting her? 5100! when another ethroblast made fun 3803 during the practice germ run exercise. 5100 was the one who grabbed 3803's and wanted to run together. She wanted to be 3803's friend no matter what even when everyone saw her as walking-
3 germ food to happen. 5100 has been unconditional and given amazing support and love to 3803 (I love the WBC squad and all but come on why isn't the 3803+5100 friendship more popular then it is. Outside of 3803+1146, they have the deepest developed friendship in canon). Even when they have their disagreements one day they are still ready to hang out as besties the next. 3803 totally gushes about 5100 and adores her more then anyone. All I can see is 1146 being like "She's talking about me-
5 can compete w/how much 3803's admires 5100. Though to be fair 1146 put Basophil on a pedestal and isn't personally close to him (it took him years to figure out he wasn't dead. That's even long after he met him again). 3803 looks up to 5100 but isn't afraid to disagree (no matter how sad she gets) or be open w/her. But yeah I could believe more then once when 3803 is gushing about the cell she loves/admires, 1146 thinks it's about him but then finds out 3803 is actually referring to 5100. Xp
~~~
We should definitely have more praise posts for 5100. Seriously, she deserves a lot considering that she’s 3803′s closest friend and possibly a good mentor to other red blood cells.
Warnings: Angst, breakdown, possible death mention, etc.
Anonymous Request: CAW: 2626/5100. 2626 is used to being the mysterious sly trickster who's also the most reliable one of the Squad. But now he's alone to deal with a 5100 who's breaking down, helpless and crying in his arms. Both 3803 and 4201 might be dying and he's never comforted a RBC before, never talked to one before. She's not the only one who feels helpless right now.
.
.
.
The lights in the waiting room are bright, glaring.
There is a reason for this, U-2626 knows this.
Bright lights illuminate the surroundings, to give off the feeling that everyone and everything can be seen, to provide a sense of safety and comfort. Lights are supposed to be a beacon of hope, the welcoming embrace that can be freely given without any need for thanks.
Bright lights expose the dirt and flaws in the environment, which is terrible to see, but will allow for the easy and quick removal of said dirt and flaws.
But the thing about bright lights is that they are cold, irritating. It shines brighter than what most cells are used to, brighter than should be necessary.
And it hurts.
Even under his bangs, 2626 sometimes has to squint or even use his hand to block out the harsh contrast between the normal environmental light seen throughout the body. Most would think that his bangs are a blatant breach in the guidelines that the higher ups had written up, but it did serve a purpose.
2626 had somewhat sensitive eyes, which intensified what he saw and what light he could physically stomach was significantly decreased compared to many other cells. It was a benign mutation, his mentor had said when, as a young myelocyte, he had clamped both hands over his eyes to stop the bright light from directly hitting his eyes.
Sunglasses were suggested, but given how dishonorable bacteria acted, knocking them off would result in him getting blinded. It was his mentor who had come up with the idea that he outgrow the length of his hair and learn how to see beyond the fringe. It was an unorthodox idea, but 2626 appreciated the creativity of it.
It was useful.
And it still is, but—
The neutrophil almost wished that he was immobilized by the bright lights. He wished that he was rendered useless through physical means.
Because the alternative was much worse.
Underneath the bright lights, seated on one of those uncomfortable chairs that had no business existing, AA-5100 sat crying. Although they had never closely interacted—their one tense thread of acquaintanceship stemming from AE-3803—2626 knew that she wasn’t prone to fits of crying. Like most red blood cells, she was quick and efficient, often favoring pragmatic action over emotional thinking when the body was at peace. However, after today, it seemed that this wary red blood cell had reached her breaking point.
Reports of an abrasion at the left elbow had caused an uproar in the immune system. Already, the body had been taxed by the effects of the cold season: sniffles and coughs could only do so much to expel the foreign invaders before the immune system had to deal with it in house.
When 2626 had arrived at the scene with the rest of his squad, he had been immediately assailed by the need to get out there and fight. It was natural to feel the bloodlust pump through his cytoplasm. Out came his knives and in went all of his visual feedback.
Enemy to the right.
Slash.
Ally needs help.
Parry.
Civilian to the right.
Running—faster, faster, faster!
And on and on it went.
Eventually, like most battles that 2626 had participated in, it ended. As the dying screams of the bacteria faded, reconstruction and recovery efforts began. Platelets began reassembling buildings and pavements, macrophages started butchering whatever was left of the enemy, and the neutrophils were left to regroup and give aid to those injured in the fight.
Unsurprisingly, most of the injured were from fellow immune cells such as himself. Given that most were veterans, they had more experience with dodging attacks and thus, were less prone to fatal injuries. There were a few close calls, however, but 2626 was confident that most of his sector would recuperate with few losses.
After 2048 and 4989 had waved him away, 2626 began to check in where the most damaged cells were being taken care of. To his utter horror, there were civilian cells who were being wheeled on stretchers towards the infirmary. A great number of them were red blood cells, but—much to his utter horror—there were also a few stretchers that held much smaller bodies. Platelets.
But that wasn’t what caught his attention.
Before he could enquire over the health of the platelets, he heard someone shout and run after the stretchers.
It was AA-5100 and she looked devastated.
It was a bit of a blur after that.
When he had tried to approach the erythrocyte, she had punched him in the face and ran after her two younger colleagues. Both of them—AE-3803 and NT-4201—were lying unconscious on their cots, numerous cuts and scrapes littering whatever exposed skin was available. As annoyed as he was by the punch, 2626 was far more concerned by the fact that 5100 was silent and still—a sight that not many could attest to seeing.
Red blood cells were always so lively and energetic. To see two of them so close to dying and the third looking ready to follow after them was disheartening, surreal.
Slowly, 2626 tried to reach out, his gloved hand gently resting on her shoulder. She tensed, but did not move as he leaned in close. Now knowing that 5100 wouldn’t start thrashing around, he wrapped his arms loosely around her shoulders, careful not to crowd her too much and silently signaling that she could move out of the hug if she wanted.
She doesn’t speak.
She doesn’t lean into his touch, but she doesn’t back away either.
She breathes, blinks, and breathes again.
It’s a small thing, but underneath those too bright lights, 2626 knows that’s all he can do.
Anonymous Request: CAW: 3803 and 5100 sister/best friend dynamic where 3803 for once is the one who fusses and angrily worries over 5100 who got a little injured pushing 3803 out of harms way and tries to downplay said injury. Bonus if 3803 tells off 1146 and his WBC squad when they don't show enough concern (in her mind) and basically gets everyone to tend to 5100's needs because dang it in 3803 eyes, 5100 is the best cell in the body and she's going to get the best as long as 3803 lives!
.
.
.
Most cells weren’t strangers to the concept of getting injured on the job. For the immune system, it was a fairly everyday occurrence. For other cells, it was a hazard that could be avoidable, but with the presence of new bacteria popping every so often and structural damage being part of the everyday environment… it was more often than not to be expected.
For the red blood cells, it was common for them to go through a series of wear and tear as they continued to deliver packages throughout the body. Erythrocytes were often the subject of muscle strain, spraining ankles, etc. Sometimes, although this was an occurrence that usually happened to the unluckiest of cells, they were injured or even killed in the event of a bacterial or parasitic attack.
More often than not, these erythrocytes didn’t make it back alive.
But that simply was not the case for one specific red blood cell. AA-5100 was a veteran: she knew the best routes to traverse the body, the most efficient way to carry packages, and how to evade attacks from bateria. If immune cells started to act up, she knew, then it was best to start heading in the opposite direction.
When that sort of thing did actually happen, 5100 (who had been busy coaching a new batch of red blood cells into running their packages into the arteries) immediately began urging her mentees into fleeing for their lives. Within an instant, the sound of fighting and frantic shouts began to grow prominent—and all the more frightening. Fortunately, having trained within the bone marrow before this, all of her mentees began to scatter in different directions—all of them noticeably away from the battle.
Satisfied with a job well done, 5100 was about to wheel her packages away when she heard a scream. Knowing full well that she could end up injured or worse, the veteran red blood cell sprinted to the source of the scream, paling instantly when she saw that it was someone she knew: AE-3803.
Without a second thought, she immediately rammed her cart into the hide of a vicious parasite before heading for her colleague. Embracing each other in relief, the both of them began running for their lives when the parasite recovered from 5100’s initial attack and took a swipe at her leg, causing the red blood cell to fall back and her head to painfully land against debris.
Everything afterwards was a blur—something that annoyed 5100 to no end, but then again, she would rather not relive her experience as a broken ragdoll for a parasite to enjoy.
It was only after the battle was over that she even realized that she was taken away to an infirmary where 3803 happened to keep watch over her.
While it was sweet at first, 5100 quickly realized that maybe such overprotective sweetness wasn’t at all that necessary.
“Hey, I don’t think you need to—” AA-5100 tried pushing away her colleague’s attempts to elevate her leg while simultaneously placing a cold rag on her forehead.
“It is necessary,” AE-3803 countered. Hurriedly, she began running her fingers through her older colleague’s hair, silently taking note of the tangles she found there. Would it be too much to start combing through her mentor’s hair? “You can’t just jump in to save my life, survive and then expect not to get treated for it!”
The older erythrocyte shook her head, somewhat amused by 3803’s antics. If the little red blood cell put her mind to it then she supposed that there was nothing that she could do about it. With a sigh, 5100 rested her head against the mound of pillows that 3803 somehow found just for her. For just a bit, 5100 thought she would definitely take some time off for herself.
Meanwhile, the young red blood cell whipped back and forth between watching over her resting mentor or finding some way to alleviate the pain that 5100 must have been feeling. Eventually, 5100 managed to coax her into seating beside her on the bed, her reasoning being that discussing the current situation would actually help her out in the long run.
However, while 5100 relaxed against the mound of pillows on her bed, 3803 continued to fiddle with her hands and wriggle in her seat. 5100 couldn’t help but think that 3803 resembled a lot like her childhood self—always full of energy and nervous that she had done something wrong. It took a long time for the macrophages to assure 3803 that she wasn’t always in trouble.
Just as 3803 was about to finish wrapping up her tale about hauling 5100 over her shoulder and hiding behind a group of neutrophils for safety, the aforementioned group of neutrophils happened to crowd into the room.
“Hello, ladies!” U-4989 crowed in delight. He marched right up to 5100’s side and practically shoved a box filled with sweets under her nose. “The macrophages are a little bit busy with the rest of the injured, but they suggested that we bring—”
“You’re crowding her!” 3803 immediately placed herself between 5100 and 4989, her face in a light frown, but concern shining in her eyes. “She’s injured; you shouldn’t be so close to her because what if—”
5100, already knowing that 3803 could seriously get too caught up in what she thought was best for her, placed a gentle hand atop 3803’s head. The sudden action silenced 3803, a bashful blush coloring her face as she turned to look back at her mentor.
“Um…”
5100 booped 3803’s nose before nodding at 4989 in thanks.
“I really appreciate your doing this, but don’t get too carried away, okay?”
3803 sniffed a little, but calmed. “Sorry, I should have asked you, 5100! I just wanted to make sure that you were okay! You were so brave out there…”
“It’s okay. Now do you want some glucose?”
A Surprising Lack of Personal Space (AA-5100 x U-26262, NT-4201 x U-4989, Natural Killer Cell x Killer T Cell)
Warnings: Fluff, also Dendritic Cell is here.
Anonymous Request: Hello, bubble anon again. I would like to request another Cells at Work, but with minor fluff ships if that’s alright. All a sudden the bubble pathogens started to engulf cells at random, trapping them inside bubbles. In the chaos, one bubble traps Red Blood Cell AA5100 and White Blood Cell U-2626 together, another traps in Red Blood Cell NT4201 and White Blood Cell U-4989 in one, and another bubble traps in Killer T Cell and Natural Killer Cell. If you have to split each of them, that’s fine
.
.
.
Dendritic Cell, ever the msichievous immune cell, sipped some of his tea as he glanced down at the chaos that was unfurling below.
It had been a stereotypical day within the body. Oxygen was getting delivered in regular intervals, nutrients passed through the bloodstream, baterial invasions were quickly stopped, and his dear favorite lactibacteria were busy munching on some desserts that one of the macrophages had curated for him. However, while the body seemed to be in good shape, Dendritic Cell couldn’t help but find himself perplexed by the sight that was occurring in one of the blood vessels.
Strange organisms—bacteria? Viruses?—were milling about as if they owned the place. These strange things floated near the grounds of the vessel while others floated high into the eaves of his tree. He wasn’t quite sure what they were, but he could tell that their presence wasn’t too urgent a matter to address. To be sure, though, Dendritic Cell quickly descended from the branches of his tree and began to investigate.
On closer inspection, it appeared that these strange organisms were transparent and left only a slightly wet sensation on bare skin if he were to take his gloves off. He thought about using his whip to attack this strange, but harmless pathogen, but before he could, the immune cell heard a pair of cells arguing. Making sure to keep the transparent organism in his sight, Dendritic Cell turned around only to find that it was a neutrophil and a red blood cell were stuck inside another one of these strange pathogens!
Hoping that they weren’t hurt, the cell ran over to them, his whip in hand and a dangerous smile on his face.
“Mr. Neutrophil! Report!” Dendritic Cell proceeded to slap the transparent bubble with his whip. Other than a slight evidence of give, the organism showed no signs of popping. He sighed but focused his attention on the blood cells who were both pressing their hands against the sides of the pathogen in an attempt to stretch it. “Are you two all right?”
U-2626, the neutrophil in question, nodded his head. Aside from the slight downturn in his lips, Dendritic Cell observed that his fellow immune cell was relatively unharmed. The same could be said for the red blood cell.
“I was on patrol with U-4989, but suddenly, these strange things appeared!”
The red blood cell, AA-5100, rolled her eyes before shoving her shoulder against the sides of the bubble. Her face shone with sweat from effort, but she still managed to smile shakily at the inquiring Dendritic Cell.
“No need for special names for these weird things. Call them bubbles!”
U-2626 paused momentarily from trying to break free by gently flicking the red blood cell’s nose.
“Hey!” 5100 tried to slap him away, but only managed to lose her balance and landing roughly on top of the neutrophil’s chest.
If Dendritic Cell wasn’t paying attention, he wouldn’t have caught the slight dusting of pink that graced her pale cheeks. Unfortunately for the erythrocyte, he saw it and found it quite interesting to say the least.
Had he brought his camera with him?
A quick check confirmed that he hadn’t.
“What can I say, Miss Red Blood Cell? You’re just as cute as these bubbles!”
“Ugh!”
U-2626 chuckled, but quickly leveled his colleagues with a serious expression. “While this bubble is relatively harmless, I would check in with other inhabitants. You never know, those trapped could end up suffocating or worse.”
Nodding in affirmation, Dendritic Cell promised to come back to make sure that they were doing fine before surveying the area for more victims. Lo and behold, beside the base of his operations, he saw another bubble that housed a similar duo. This time, it was a Killer T Cell (now a Memory T Cell if he was remembering correctly) and a Natural Killer Cell. These two in particular didn’t work well together—that, he definitely remembered well.
Hoping that NK wasn’t threatening bodily harm against her colleague, Dendritic Cell quickly hurried over, careful not to accidentally get absorbed by other bubbles in the area. When he arrived at their side, he found that NK was busy trying to slash against the transparent skin while Killer T was using his fists. The whole time, both of them were arguing over which of their methods were more effective.
Wanting to throw his hat into the ring, Dendritic Cell brandished his whip (again) and slapped the bubble.
Hard.
Unfortunately, this led to these two immune cells to stop yelling at each other only for them to switch their focus on him.
“What do you think you’re doing, Dendritic Cell? I was just about almost done punching a hole!”
“Get out of my way! My katana can do more damage than your whip!”
Now, Dendritic Cell knew that these two cells were under a lot of stress considering the circumstances, but even he felt like he should be treated with a bit more respect and kindness. Without breaking a sweat, Dendritic Cell slowly held both their gazes before saying—
“Oh really? I must say it seemed that you were flirting more than you were actually making headway with escaping.”
No sooner did he say that did both the entrapped immune cells freeze up, their cheeks glowing with an unhealthy shade of red. Dendritic Cell didn’t think his words would actually have an impact, but he found himself gratified that he was able to witness such an event! Aside from when he was busy activating cells, he had never quite seen the effect of saying such embarrassing information aloud. It was quite endearing.
Ah… but it was so much better if he could have captured it on camera!
So many opportunities lost!
Before his colleagues could retaliate, Dendritic Cell tipped his hat to them and began to walk away.
“It seems that we still need to find a way to get this mess sorted out, so I’ll leave you to it while I try to find a solution.”
And Dendritic Cell whistled a jaunty tune as he went.
For the next several minutes, Dendritic Cell inquired after several other trapped cells. Some were of macrophages while others housed platelets. All were well, but there was a general sense of unease and irritation at having been kept from their duties. After sending a couple of free platelets to notify regular cells about the situation, Dendritic Cell began to head back to his base of operations so he could radio Helper T Cell and Regulatory T Cell about these strange events.
Just as he was about to enter, he heard a whoop and a holler that sounded like it was from—
“Mr. Neutrophil! You can’t just—!”
It was a young red blood cell with short black hair and a tired look in her eyes. Dendritic Cell glanced at the placard on top of her hat, taking note of her alphanumeric designation: NT-4201. Unlike most of her other comrades, this erythrocyte sat cross legged on the bottom of the bubble, her eyes wide as she took in the neutrophil that towered above her. Said neutrophil was busy eating takoyaki off of a toothpick… Were they made out of bacteria?
“Don’t worry, Miss Red Blood Cell! I’ve got this!”
And with that, the neutrophil (who was named U-4989 after Dendritic Cell took a peek at the cell’s placard) brandished his toothpick and jabbed it intoo the transparent skin of the bubble.
Surprisingly, enough—
Nothing happened.
NT-4201 slapped a palm across her forehead.
“I told you it wasn’t going to work!”
Dendritic Cell sighed before running back into his tree.
It was time for backup.
Last one. I admit I love how a ton of doujins hit my weak spot for 3803 showing a protective/sensitive streak for 4989 when he needs it (like when some non immune cells hurt his feelings) and it brings him to tears and he hugs her like she's his angel (and 1146 lurks around a little jealous/caught off guard because he's not fond of others being so clingy with her). Different topic there's a surprising amount of content of 4201 being very protective of 3803 w/1146. She's like that overprotective-
2 little sister who's watching her older sister's boyfriend like a hawk. Quite different from my 5100 would be the momma bear while 4201 would be the pragmatic one. But hey I can juggle. 5100 stays the momma bear while 4201 is accepting/supportive but throws digs at 1146 if she thinks he's messed up or isn't acting good enough for her Senpai until he makes it right. 1146 is canonly afraid of her scary face so he'd be unnerved by her ' you're so stupid step it up for 3803" dagger look.
~~~
Oooh! I love the girl RBCs being wholly supportive of 3803. 4201, I feel, should be given more notice in the fandom--and I don’t mean bashing! She looks up to 3803, even if she doesn’t really show it. I love thinking that 4201 would still be wary of immune cells as a whole, but is definitely down to throw hands with 1146 if he doesn’t treat 3803 right.
5100 is definitely in the background cheering in the background while 3803 tries her hardest not to suffer brain damage by facepalming so hard.
That wasn't my plan but I like it! I know right! Somehow 2626/5100 is semi popular despite neither having ever interacted (I do like fanon pairing) and 5100 having distant respect at best for WBC's. Meanwhile we have M/Killer T secretly desiring to be friends w/non immune cells and 3803 has been the non immune cell he's shown the most interest in. It will seriously be a tradegy if those 2 don't at least form a kind of friendship in canon (we're on the right track. Her and 4989 are bonding!). -
2 Those 2 would seriously have a fun dynamic at this point. She's far more confident and totally used to the brutal quirks and ways of immune cells. He's also a bit more... calm(?) now. He'd totally act like a arse to her but couldn't help but become putty in her hands if she smiled more then 2 secs at him. I personally think in canon he could legit have a crush on her. That's why he's both strangely knowledgable about her while also acting like a extra jerk over her since he wants to be tough-
Cont) and not weak over some lovable doofus he can't help fantasizing holding hands with, drinking tea with, having her adoring smile all to himself.... Yeah I could see that. Again he wants to be tough and devoted to doing his job. He's more aware on some level then 1146 is about non immune cells being harmed easily. Possibly because it'd be his job to put them down so he can't get too attached. That there would add some depth to his resistance since he doesn't want to kill other cells but -
Cont will to save the body. Actually you know, Killer T and 3803 are a lot more alike then they're given credit. Remember back when Killer T was younger he was the worst in his class and very sensitive before he graduated and worked hard to be the best. Maybe he's both attracted and harsh towards 3803 because she reminds him of himself. In a weird way he can relate to her more then 1146 can since 1146 was always a prodigy since day 1. Lol, just imagine NK cell figuring out his crush on a RBC. -
Cont) She'd totally mess with him over it. Like M Killer T is about to swoop in and save her but NK cell rescues her first and carries (a very confused) 3803 bridal style while mocking how useless Killer T is. It might get so bad she dares Killer T to take 3803 away from her and starts running off with her while Killer T chasing after screaming at her. 1146 would have to eventually show up (from hearing 3803's cries from a distance) and be like "Knock it off guys She's not a toy!" XD I luv it!
Hahahahaha!
I don’t know how 2626/5100 got so popular... Like, it’s such a cute ship and I have read some cute fanfiction about it, but how it came about? I think it was because some really good artists on Twitter managed to get the ball rolling on that. Anyway, yeah, there should be more cells interacting. It would be cute and it would how how different aspects of the body deal with one another.
Again, 3803 gets around.

As for Killer T, you bring so much to the table with that comparison. Honestly, I’m at that point where I really want to write a fanfic about those two. If I have the time (kinda do, quarantine, ya know), but I’m kinda in some other fandom and am in the middle of making fic for that... but ya know. It might happen.
Heheh, that last part. 1146 would just sling 3803 over his shoulder and bolt out of there.
