Icy’s 30 Days of Thanks Day #16: As Cold as Ice by A_Zap
It’s important to show appreciation for all things both big and small. As part of the giving season for the month of November I wanted to extend some shoutouts to 30 fanfictions that I’ve read and loved ♥
I would like to thank them for the joy they’ve brought me, the laughs, the tears, the curses, the stomach curdles, the winces, the flinches, the “yessss,” the squeaks, the squeals, the arm flailing and of course the time, effort and love they have given these stories and for sharing them with us all.

Day #16
As Cold as Ice by @azapofinspiration (A_Zap)
Summary: Keith scoffed when Hunk warned him and Pidge to never make Lance truly angry. After all, Lance wasn't scary. He was like his element: flexible, playful, and able to let things go as easily as ripples in water. Plus, at the end of the day, he was too nice to ever really do anything when angry.
Keith had forgotten that water could be just as terrifying and unforgiving as any wild fire.
My notes: Another fic I think I’ve previously reced but I absolutely adore this one. It’s a beautiful change of pace of the Lance angst and just seeing this boy in all his bad ass glory because his family has been threatened and he damn well is going to do something about it.
Seeing this from outside perspective, Keith, is the cherry on top as I am always always down for some Lance appreciation. The flow to this story is beautiful as well and as poetic as the summary would suggest. Also, I still lowkey wish the series had gone this way but it sort of did in some regards too so yeah xD
Also, snort, the ending makes me laugh every single time. Keith is so so precious and I just adore him ♥
