On December 7th, 1941, 84 years ago today, the Empire of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, a US Naval Harbour situated on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The result of this strike was the US officially joining the ongoing world war raging in Europe.
The attack claimed the lives of 2,403 U.S. personnel, including 68 civilians and destroyed and damaged 19 U.S. Navy ships, including 8 battleships.

83 years ago on 7th of December 1941 Pearl-Harbor was attacked by Japanese forces. The planes took of the carriers with the first sun rays.
There was a much more sun that is on the artwork. But such a contrast shows the light play
