I think she looks like a girl… maybe it’s the long, glowing hair, the seductive eyes, what appears to be a delicate frame or maybe the hint of Tortie coloring… When I slid my second stick under the sliding front, Ms. or Mr. Pawsby, leaned forward to smell my stick. She leaned forward & practically put her nose right on the stick. I am not nor have I ever been a “a cat whisperer” but that makes me think she is not completely if at all, feral. She is however, scared, uncomfortable & nervous. There was a lot of lip licking which is the same in cats as it is dogs…. Stress. I was stressing her, me & my sticks although she was curious about the stick. She is scared & not, outwardly friendly. She didn’t move from the cubby, didn’t want any affection from me & I’m sure, released a sigh of relief, once I left. Now she needs somewhere to go. She is not friendly enough to be adoptable & she can’t be TNR’d. Her only option is Rescue. If you can help this beautiful life find her or his happy place, we would all be appreciative but none more the Pawsby.
