a2n / Unconvention Factory workshop

To produce an album in one day was the idea of the a2n / Unconvention Factory workshop, that took place in Berlin, on November 3rd, 2011 . Aside from recording, mastering and producing the songs of the compilation, four graphic designers have been invited to create an artwork for the CD and a poster. We all never met before and had no clue what to expect, when we arrived at the workshop. During our work the music was recorded, vistors came and went and step by step the artwork came to light. After ten hours over 40 posters and 150 CD sleeves have been designed and printed with great help of the screen printing studio CZentrifuga. On top of the fact that every poster and CD sleeve is different because it’s screen printed, each album cover has been branded with a unique stripe of tape. It has been a wonderful day and it was fun to work with all the people involved in this workshop.
