God, I never got back around to that, did I? Ech. It was meant to be talked about further - it was a part of Brokenstar’s cult following - but I didn’t plan far enough ahead and I just skipped over that whole thing. If I ever rewrite this, that stupid plot point is going to be dealt with. 

It was also actually meant to be a part of ShadowClan’s overall weirdness. They’re religious as fuck and they’d (at that point in the story) be happy to grab outlier cats and chat them up, convince them to lean towards StarClan a little more, y’know, just come on over sometime and hear some stories, it’s all good!

Yeah, I didn’t do super well explaining anything with him. The main thing he wanted was more power, like in the books. He wanted the security of having a lot of people under him that would defend him from even the slightest criticism or rebellious attitude. He murdered his way to the top and forced out anyone who could stand up to him and have the respect of the Clan to possibly sway them against him. 

Yeah, I was debating on how to refer to it, because on the one hand a cat wouldn’t know metal, and on another it’s so obviously a different material like glass or something that it might as well just be called so. 

Trust me, that will be a thing. 

ThunderClan’s sudden change in ideals here is partially due to how often they fraternize with loners and kittypets. The other Clans already disparage them for having mixed blood, so ThunderClan responds by limiting their interactions to battle tips and breeding, and any other problem will get you escorted away from the border (if you’re not servicing ThunderClan, you get nothing, you lose, good day sir). Eventually, this behavior eventually bled into their relationships with the other Clans. Now they’re just giant assholes who only step in when there’s something related to them.
