“Yeah, he does!” Taking the pup from the other, Alyss holds him up in front of her face and coos at him. “She’s crazy, isn’t she? Don’t worry, I will save you from the crazy lady, little one.” Her free hand grabs at Bora’s wrist as she football cradles the little pug in the other arm. “Don’t you already have a dog anyways, unnie?”

HER cheeks pulled up at her smile and she beamed happily at the boy’s compliment, feeling her cheeks warm with a light blush. “You think so? It was either this or the bomber jacket, but I was feeling the leather today.” Her arms came to rest over his about her waist and she leaned her weight back into his embrace, lazily looking over their reflection in her lit full-length mirror. “Okay, I’m ready, and I’m starving.”

ROLLING her eyes, she tried to front her flattery but couldn’t hide her growing smile. “Takes a babe to know a babe.”

SHE exaggerated feigned pride and flipped her hair excessively over her shoulder, wearing a playful grin. “Oh, this ol’ mop? You’re much too kind, love. Look, you’re making me blush, and it’s not just my colourpop! Ever consider going purple? I definitely recommend, 5/5 stars. S’just a ton of maintainence, but you end up looking so good. It’s worth it.”

“IF this is you sober, remind me to have my first aid kit around.” Her head tilted back slightly to let out a laugh, grinning at him. “I’ve been told I’m the most fun when high, thanks very much!”

“Hold up, I’m not feeling to well.” She mumbled, bringing a hand over her mouth as she tried to collect herself. One of the few things she hated with a passion was throwing up, so she fought like a stubborn bitch.

“LOOK, if you’re here to scold me, you’re just wasting your breath.” She didn’t bother to raise her eyes from her project board, a shaking hand tipping back at the one of many cups of tea to remedy her exhaustion. Alyss had always been a very determined girl; once she set her mind to something or was curious about it, there was no stopping her. “Unless you’re going to help me, you might as well see yourself out the way you came. I have people counting on me, these kids count on me…” she mumbled, brows furrowed.
