an interesting aspect of alexanderâs ending of the game is i think the musical piece that accompanies the credits âending:alexanderâ from the soundtrack. it isnât triumphant pleased. it is melancholy and honestly makes me quite sad when i hear it personally. itâs interesting because it isnât determined if this piece is supposed to be from alexanderâs POV or the playerâs. if it is the players it would make more sense for the song to be unhappy as we have just failed in our endeavor set out from the beginning. daniel is dead and alexander âthe villainâ has won. however, the song is specifically ending: alexander which makes me think it is supposed to be an instrumental piece regarding his feelings of the ending. if so, itâs rather depressing that he has finally accomplished his centuries long goal of returning home, and yet, he is still not happy, not successful it seems. is this simply because alexander is a rather somber individual? or perhaps the regret he feels for danielâs downfall, danielâs demise and corruption, sped along by himself is tainting the victory of his return. his friend is dead, consumed by the shadow, no longer believing them to be close at all. he is home, but his experiences weigh him down.Â
