The sky and clouds.

But as he grew angrier his eyes turned to lightning, bright and fierce and ready to attack,

His sadness brought only long rainy days, colorless and devoid of warmth,

But when he looked at me, I saw all of it,

It was the bright blue cloudless sky,

It was the lightning striking in a violent storm,

It was the raindrops on the window when it poured,

It was me and him walking around in the grass on a warm day,

It was me and him running to the truck trying not to get wet,

It was me and him sitting inside drinking coffee, reading books, and watching movies cuddled up together on the couch
