A Simple Visit [Closed RP Starter]
"Hello, Madame Steward. Are you in?" The sound of clattering china and a knock at her door would draw the Senior Steward from her work. It had been a long time since Junior Steward and Summoner Kazamaru had spoken with the blonde-haired woman. Not since a very strange day at the Institute some time ago had they really seen one another. Since then, all kinds of strange rumors had been popping up involving the two of them, the biggest of which being some kind of romantic connection between them...
After his knock, Summoner Kaz would stand at her door, holding a tray with various kinds of china and teacups, including a pot of dark vanilla tea made especially for the Senior Steward. Ever since their first meeting at the Institute's Break Room some time ago, they'd formed a strong friendship. Whether there was anything more than friendship between them, well, that was likely unknown to both parties.
And so, the Junior Steward would wait patiently for the woman to respond.
It should come as no surprise that Tybresa was seated at her desk - as always, except instead of diligently working at her paperwork, she had her eyes shut tightly in concentration, one hand pressing hard at the right side of her temple and massaging the area while she leaned on the left armrest of her chair, her legs crossed over one another in a comfortable and ladylike position.
She was struggling to remember, to somehow patch up the blank spots in her thoughts and memories when it came to the past two months - whatever limited interactions she had in the last couple of days had all acted terribly surprised to see her, claiming that she had gone missing. And yet ... if she had gone missing, her work would have been practically drowned her entire office in papers and reports waiting to be filed. The Council acted none the wiser of her supposed absence - and they were most critical when it came to that, to the point they flat-out refused to let her leave for Piltover, only to mention they will consider it more thoroughly at a later date.
Nothing was meshing together as it should have - surely, one side must be wrong. But why would so many of her acquaintances and close friends go at such a length to deceive her so? No - she refused to believe it was from their side. But that left ...
Nothing was making sense. And the more she attempted to recall that time span in her mind, the more agonizing the headache became to the point she had to abandon everything in favor of lying down. But ... oddly enough, she knew something had gone terribly, terribly wrong somewhere.
A sharp intake of air and a startled flinch followed the knock at the door that made her reel back to the present reality, making Tybresa wince as the break in her concentration made a particularly nasty headache. "Hrrh ..." she let out a throaty hiss as she shifted in her seat, leaning over her desk to make it seem like she was busy.
"Come in." She spoke in a voice that sounded more weary than thrilled - as far as she knew, chances are the individual beyond the door was someone who required something done ... Little did she know.
