Joey rose his hand, wondering if it would be safe to touch the poor man’s shoulder or something, but he stopped short when he heard a chuckle. The inky man’s body had shaked a little with the motion of laughing so shortly, and suddenly he didn’t feel like this was a good idea to be so close. The inky man chuckled once more, straightening his posture just slightly. Without much warning, the man broke into loud cackling and laughing, swinging his hand up to hold the side of his head as he leaned back.
