if not for the dnf he definitely would've been p2 or p3 but i don't think he would've won especially considering lando won by 20 seconds

nothing makes me more insane than carl during the home depot shopping trip. the way he’s looking at grace with such careful consideration, brows furrowed, face analytical, like being silly and having fun had very genuinely just not occurred to him, and when he tries it out it’s almost. scientific. he’s trying it on, seeing how it feels, dipping his toe into grace’s play so cautiously, because it’s so far beyond his comfort zone. he strikes me as the sort of guy who hasn’t played since he was a kid, kind of genuinely didn’t know that you can still play and have fun as an adult because the adulthood he knows is. serious. and who can have fun while the world is ending?

I think it’d be cool if the TADC gang’s avatars sorta matched what they don’t like about themselves/feel and fear about themselves/think others view them as irl/etc
Pomni: people often babied her for being sensitive and she often gets forced to be the butt of the joke, was once (unknowingly) part of a bet in high school to see who could make her cry first. Is never taken seriously both due to her height and sensitivity
Ragatha: thrown around and treated like something you can throw around and away, victim to and of the bystander effect. Was made to be cherished and loved but was thrown away rather quickly by her mother like an old toy you don’t want anymore because it doesn’t do what you want it to.
Jax: very social and would be “friends” with people and would be seen as soft but would do a whole 180 and be selfishly playful, unserious, and curious.
Gangle: puts on a mask over her actual permanent face, wants to be seen as presentable to others when speaking but comes off as awkward, which often got her to be made fun of behind her back
Kinger: a mere piece in a chess game. Pretty used to planning his own moves and game plans but wouldn’t get far at times, he was fine with that until he ended up wasting away some of his life on one thing
Zooble: mixmatch was a nickname they were called in high school and college because of their gender identity and fashion sense. They have a very calm demeanor, like when you search through a box of nostalgic toys, but can get easily angered and annoyed, like an unexpected sound or sharp touch
