hey? whats the difference between something thats living and something thats non living? because? when u think about it, the line between living and nonliving is rly like, blurred? bc like alright, we have our cells in our body yeah? and we consider those living, even tho all parts of the cell arent living things, like the entire cell is just a series of chemical reactions? like nothing IN the cell is alive. but the cell itself is considered living? i dont get it. even us as humans are just a lot of chemcial reactions doing its thanggggg. like its nature, so i dont get what makes us living. like you could say we r living bc we r moving but like? virus’s arent considered to be living and they move and they even have the power to mess up other living things without even being living!! “we r living bc we have a conciseness” but like? plants r considered living nd they dont. Cells r consideredl iving and they dont. “we breathe” yeah but thats just another chemcial reaction?????? like? ive never really thought about it but like now that i AM thinking about its kinda like ? what? is being alive just a concept we created to better understand ourself and our surroundings? and like what about AI and robots? if theyre considered living and they arent even made of organic matter , what makes them living? like i dont mean to sound fake deep with all this but like fr.........@ science side of tumblr......explain......
