to harp back on it, i think his age-play thing can be tied to his misogyny. I’m sorry, but the guy puts female reagents in cages, leaves their corpses in humiliating poses (strung up, half naked with their now mutilated breasts exposed), and even has two female ex-pop’s bound and gagged to a machine that milks them. this guy does not particularly like or respect women, yet still needs them to fulfill his fantasy of having a loving mother. that milk has to come from somewhere.

so there’s always a looming, unspoken threat that you’re a commodity. a toy he can command around by waving his Lupara and then toss out when he’s done with. Franco has never had any sort of healthy relationship, romantic or otherwise. does he even want that? Certainly be a nice fuckin’ change, to have him and all of his faults accepted. have someone dote on him without any cajoling or exchanging of money or threatening. won’t you let him sit in mommy’s lap and give him a hug?

for what it’s worth, he does try to play the sympathy card before going to pointing Lupara at you. everyone is just so mean to him, the doctors are the ones making him hurt people. he just wants to be held. please hold him.

he might feel ownership over you, should you play your part well enough and long enough that he gets attached. He wants to you to return his feelings, and if there’s another guy, then it’s no big deal if he has to rip his competitions intestines out. so a broad has wandering eyes, big deal, they all do. he just needs to lock you down, give you what other guys can’t offer. besides, what kind of mother would you be if you tossed your 26-year-old baby to the wayside?

not sure where to squeeze this note but i do think franco is emotionally unavailable in a way. he’s not shy about expressing himself, even if he is guarded about his more inner feelings. he’s still an open book. he’ll tell you exactly what he thinks of you and makes a big show out of it, whether the feelings are negative or positive. but his experiences with women have all been transactional. he gives them money, they squish him under their heel or let him suckle. at sinyala, he spares their lives for a bit longer while he gets what he wants out of them (namely milk). he forgets that you have your own little world in that cute head of yours, that you aren’t just a prop to fulfill his fantasies of wanting a loving mother, sexually or otherwise.

there does come a time where he wants to pick your brain apart and know every single thought in your head; insatiably curious about what you think of him and the other prime assets (coyle…). but in the beginning stages when things are still tender and he’s essentially testing to see if you’ll still put up a caring front when he misbehaves, you might as well be a cardboard-cutout.
