She probably ought to have laid low. She ran into Farrah at a bar, Lukas and his seemed to be turning something of a scrutinizing look on her. And Farrah said word about her was getting around.

But it was a compulsion. 

The very compulsion that compelled her to yet another bar on the below average end of the bell curve. That's where the sort she was sniffing out seemed to hound, after all. Not much other reason to go to dumps like this. She sipped her drink, greyhound with mint, as usual, as her eyes scanned the crowd.
