WOOM-CRASH! Pensilina-Insegna, Walfgasse, Vienna Shelter-Signboard
Arms Race
Flash had done it, he'd fixed Elecman. Light bots were harder to build, smaller screws and little ribbon cables, but he'd done it. This was a mark, a notch on his belt in the engineering world. With this Flash could safely assume he could fix fucking anything. And reprogram it to boot.
It took forever to scrub Elec of his firewalls and safety features short of reinstalling his OS. But again, he'd done it, thanks to some stardroid tech he still had on hand. The aliens were good for something. But now was the moment of truth.
Flash sat Elecs table up into a chair and started the DLN's reboot cycle. "Here's to hoping he wont kill us all." He prays to the Maker.
It was quiet for a little while on Star’s end, but he hadn’t closed the line. Just kind of…chewing on that. Wondering why Crash was still talking to him and why this hadn’t become a screaming match.
>Even if I took what you’re saying to heart and said I wouldn’t help them if a conflict came up, no one would believe me.
>Why do you even care?
>Again, because his body was a gift to me from my brother, and it meant a lot. It wasn’t yours to take. It had a lot of meaning behind it, and you know his maker would have just rebuilt him without it if he had to. He wasn’t in any danger of not being restored. You took something from me that you can’t replace.
>That's...not what I meant. I should really stop being so vague.
>Putting my thoughts on receiving a body as a present aside-wait, what do you mean couldn't be replaced? You mean you don't still have it?
Star felt his anger starting to evaporate with that. He'd thought maybe they hung him back up or put him somewhere else to be admired like a stuffed animal caught on the hunt.
>The last time I saw his body, Flash handed him off to a Joe to be carried away like some Weekend at Burnie's crap.
Against the Tides
Ring stayed by the food tables with Star for the evening. While his friend was busy eyeing others across the deck, the detective kept quiet in the back. Eyes drooped and weary, it was sometimes hard to tell if Ring was ever happy.
At least he was fed for the first time in a month. Ring kept himself facing the ocean behind him to hide his face from people passing by.
He also was hiding a smile from how delicious the cake was. Its high quality taste and texture were something undeniable. At least he could just keep his mouth full.
It would be a real shame if someone else caught a DCN such as himself off guard.

Easy Lube
Flash laid in wait, and when the sounds of whirring filled the halls he struck, coming up from behind Crash he grabs his brother by the neck cables and holds tight. "I will do your upkeep even if I have to drag you back to the lab in pieces " He hisses in anger. It had been a while since Crash's last check up and he'd be damned if his idiot of a brother was going to get away with not getting it done.
Bring your boyfriend to work day?
There it was! Nitroman had still been getting used to the layout of the new fortress, though it was built nearly identical to the last one, the few changes were enough to send Nitro leading them in circles for a bit there, but with enough trial and error the pair of them had stumbled upon the teleportation room. He was glad that Crash hadn't said anything about him taking them through the same hallway 3 times, because that was just downright embarrassing for a guy who often bragged about his good direction. (Thank the maker for a built in GPS system!) "See? I told you I knew where I was going." he bragged, looking back to his partner before entering. "But...hey Crash?" His head tilted to the side while he wore a rather sudden concerned expression. "You're not having second thoughts about this, are you?" He'd felt like a bad guy for not having thought to ask before. "Because you know if it's not everything I'm making it out to be that we can always just come back, right?" He stopped at the panel of buttons and things, bending slightly to view their choices. "Now where do we want to go....Heh, Light labs..."A mechanical sounding laugh escaped him, distorted by the thick helmet. "That'd be fun. Man this sucks, the choices are slim to none...I guess this place sounds alright. Isn't this where Punk is staying at?" So much for stopping to ask Crash what he was feeling. The bike-bot couldn't help but move quickly and be excited about the whole ordeal though.
