“I don’t leave messages. If I wanted to talk to a machine, I’d talk to my VCR.”
Kriz wasn’t fond of interacting with guests at his hotels but sometimes if there was someone expressing unhappy claims and he happened to be around, he would step out of his comfort zone to deal with the issue and hopeful fix it.
Hearing the distress of a guest at the front desk had grabbed his attention as he was on his way out of the hotel, stopping to notice that no one was at the desk helping guests in need.
“Find me the front end employee and ask them why they are not doing their job, and if they dont answer with a good reason then fire them..” Kriz told his assistant before he made his way over to the upset guest.
“Is there anything I can help you with sir?”
It was one of the rare days when Damian preferred sleeping on a bed, and not on the couch in his lab, so he had booked a room in one of the hotels. And it was hard not to know the hotel he was staying in, especially when the elder females in the family ended up admiring the young billionaire whenever he showed up on TV.
After checking in and setting himself up in the room, the young hacker had called the desk, since there were some trivial manners he wanted to request, but no one answered, which resulted in him taking a walk downstairs. It was not that he minded, but he felt it was odd.
“Um, yes—” he replied, wishing he would have sounded and looked casual, and not shocked because of the person who had approached him. “Um,” he stammered, looking around, then back at the male. “I wanted to ask about wake-up call, but.. well, the person from before probably went somewhere”
