95 line - recolor
Analysis: Current and previous Dvorak satellite center position estimates for tropical system in the Bay of Campeche, from SAB and TAFB. Spread in center location hopefully will be resolved soon as recon is on the way. Given the forward movement rate, center should be inland in 12-18 hours, but may see system attain tropical storm strength before then.
Track model map showing forecasts for the disturbance currently over the Yucatan. Development chances for this system (designated 95L) have increased to 30% in the next 48 hours. However, once it emerges over the Bay of Campeche, the it may not be over water very long before again moving inland over Mexico. A strong ridge of high pressure to the north, responsible for the heat in the midwest, should help keep this system south of the United States.
